Animated, enthusiastic, daring with the idea of safety and caution in favour of bold advancement in the field of the lore of Flame and knightly competency, Ravelyn is a natural born extremophile and thrill seeker, finding herself overjoyed in the most extreme of enviornments for herself and those she teaches. She appreciates the majesty of nature and the primal forces of magic as close and as strongly as she can, her favourite place to be is roaming volcanos or within burning buildings. She loves the heat of battle and the testing of herself, bearing defeat and victory as opportunities to experience the highs and lows of life and all it offers. She believes that things grow stronger through being tested, and is charismatic enough to ensure that no matter what, something is learned, witnessed or improved through her trials by fire. She seems overjoyed when the very worst situation reveals it's threat, for it is an opportunity to witness a great force at work and to resist it with her own potency. She always strives to prove that her maxim that there is always hope to overcome, survive and outdo the great forces that might undo lesser folk, and that her position as Knight Pursuant grants her the privaledge to forge her charges through unusually bold strategies that might seem insane, but due to Ravelyn's extensive powers and consideration to other's inability to face and utalise the mighty domain of Flame, she is an exhilarating teacher and dauntless foe. While some grow more serious and determined the more grave the situation, Ravelyn embraces the majesty of raw power, and while specialises in fire, heat, temperature and providing resistance to such forces to her comrades through virtue of her banner and discipline, other elemental forces like lightning and gales are at her whim and maverick disposition.

Appearance
Ravelyn wears an intricate piece of armour which allows her to vent heat and bolster her ability to resist extreme temperatures, and it is rumoured she pioneered the use of strange, rare stone only found in near lavaplanes and the birth place of fire elementals. She carries a banner which has an dedication to the domain of Flame which allows her to confure a radius of extension to resistance to those around her. Her blade is a heavy thing which allows absorption of elemental forces, and has been rumoured to have been created by withstanding the force of a hundred dragon breaths and a hundred lightning bolts.
She has a deep scar in her right cheek. Her eyes are deep black, with a thin colouring of brown. It is as if she sees too much at all times, as if she is always willing to receive more light.

Skills and Abilities
Domain of Resistance: Due to her armour, ability, training and general disposition, she is able to withstand intense heat beyond what might be normally considered safe, desirable or survivable. She can stand in places where others would faint from heat exhaustion, and seems to be happier the warmer she is. That said, she often has to spend her down time in literally chilled places to gather her thoughts so that she does not endanger others through forgetting what it is to be uncomfortable. When Ravelyn shivers, it is rarely from cold, but from the overwhelming energies she might have absorbed...ready to be channelled by:
Sword of Channelling: As energies course around and through her, Ravelyn has a blade that can retain charge. It is often used to ignite into flames as a way of expelling her enviornments heat, or sent into glorious golden brilliance. It is a thing made of jagged steel, and can resist almost any sundering. It is a slow weapon to weild, and Ravelyn typically uses her magic through her sword, instead of using it as a mundane weapon.
Banner of Resonant Defense: Marked by orange and yellow hue, inflammable and without heraldry, it carries freshly written runes that are infused with appropriate arcane energy. Often this is the Domain of Flame, although it has been known to carry the words of the Domain of Life as to protect her comrades from the forces of Death. When planted upon the ground, and within proximity of it's owner Ravelyn, it can provide the same aura of resistance that she herself enjoys. It can vary in it's aura, but thirty feet is a safe distance to be wandering in the extreme enviornments Ravelyn finds herself most comfortable in. Within five to ten feet is comfortable, and the rest is to become more exposed to that intense enviornment. It has been known that great planes of ice and snow have been tranversed through the warmth of the banner, and volcanic enviornments of lava have been resisted through virtue of staying close, although one might want a sturdy pair of boots regardless. It takes some concentration to provide a broad aura of the banner, but Ravelyn has well trained and adept at providing spell auras through banner and offensive and reflective magic through her blade.
Master of Flame : All fire magic is well understood by Ravelyn, embraced and is part of her very existence. She has learned the art of producing dragonflame, but this is something which is for desperate measures or very focused application. If she has comrades to protect, she prefers to prevent harm and allow others to thrive in the extreme enviornments provided, as opposed to using Flame as a blunt tool. She is no Pyromancer, she is in spirit, a creature of the Flame, and would rather provide survivability to her comrades and grace to her natural enemies so she might enjoy the world, no matter the temperature.
Personality
Thrilled only by the most intense of situations, an educator with highly unorthodox but highly successful intense training routines, Ravelyn has the ability to see the potential in any threat to bring out the best in people. She believes that people only become stronger when they face their fears and become uncomfortable, and is the first to laugh at danger and be excited to see something new and powerful, whether it be manmade or a force of nature. She has a passion for education and always prefers to provide positive feedback to people no matter what the outcome, and can seem daunting in her requests to others. She is a figure on the battlefield that is a maverick of energy, she is not driven by anger and rage as some involved in Flame might, but curiosity, excitement, defiance of the mundane and hope in the potential of her comrades. She has been known to bite off more than she can chew, and sometimes requires others to instill in her any kind of fear or regular concept of self preservation, but despite what might be seen as a deathwish, Ravelyn always has contingencies, powers and preparations to ensure she brings everyone home and that they have a story to tell, not people to mourn. And those who do fall? Saw the greatest things in the world before they passed, and achieved more than they could if they cowered from the demands of knighthood.
