Raisanu
An adventurer who takes on jobs to fell and capture dangerous monsters. She's young and naïve, but eager to explore and befriend like-minded individuals.
Appearance
For all intents and purposes, Raisanu is a bipedal griffin. Her upper half resembles an ornate hawk-eagle, while her hindquarters are closer to a pseudo-melanistic tiger in appearance. Rather than the classic leonine tail, hers is adorned by a fan of feathers with markings and coloration similar to a hawk-eagle's tail.
Despite her young age, she's marred with scars from a lifetime of hunting and battling. Though they aren't quite so visible on her avian half due to feathering, old gashes and bite marks are plainly visible on her feline half. Her clawed, bird-like arms also have noticeable scarring, denoted by warped scales.

Skills and Abilities
- Flight
- Marksmanship: Pretty much a literal eagle eye, Raisanu is capable of deadly accuracy with a bow and arrow. However, the use of a bow hampers her flight, so she greatly favors crossbows. In the event she does use a bow, she will use a shortbow.
- Polearms: If she doesn't have access to a ranged weapon, or use of one would be impractical, these are her next best choice.
- Considering the impracticality of carrying a spear everywhere with her, Raisanu used her own coin to have one enchanted. By pulling down its haft, it can shrink to the length of a short sword.
- Hunting & tracking
- Poisons: When monsters can grow as large as they do, ordinary weapons are little more than needles. But needles can inject deadly poisons. As such, Raisanu is familiar with native plants and fauna in various regions, including which ones are poisonous or venomous. She uses her earnings to purchase potent toxins to coat her weapons.
- Potions: Raisanu learned to brew rudimentary potions, all of which serve to help her in her hunts.
- Enhanced strength — a human-sized individual would have their physical strength enhanced by 20% for up to 30 minutes.
- Enhanced stamina — a human-sized individual would be able to fight or run for a maximum of 15 additional minutes before suffering fatigue.
- Enhanced healing — a human-sized individual with equivalent healing ability could heal from physical injuries 10% faster for upwards of a day, but this cannot save someone from fatal wounds and has no effect on infections, toxins, or curses.
- Antidotes must be made for a specific poison or venom; there are no catch-all antidotes. They would still be largely useless against especially potent toxins.
- First aid: She knows a number of plants that have restorative effects. Raisanu can patch wounds and splint broken limbs, but she's not a healer by any means.
