The earliest memory he had was in a battlefield, among the band of mercenaries which had provided care and food for him ever since they had found him abandoned as an orphan in Falwood. He lived as a mercenary for this very band for nearly his entire life, until one night he was captured by an unknown group and tortured for 2 months where he told nearly everything about the mercenaries he called family. One day, his family found him after fighting their way through the enemy barracks, they then realized why they had been robbed of food and other valuables as well as having half of the band being killed in their sleep. In rage, the leader of the band exiled him to Malaketh to die, there he fought for his survival for 4 years, having to, at times, eat what he managed to kill in self-defence. The 4 long years ended when he finally reached the port town of Petakauata, where he snuck his way into a trade ship and ended up in Alliria. His body had scars to the point of being deformed, his voice was left weak and brittle, having to take large gasps for air in between each sentence. His golden days of glory and strength are long gone, and now there is left a shell of his former self.

However, Dauner, an Allirian swordsman looking for a right hand man in his plan to create a band of mercenaries stronger than any other. Dauner accepted his request to join this band, allowing him to eat and live like he used to before his life took a turn for the worse.
