Pharis Thorne
Appearance
While not tall, Pharis carries herself with a sense of purpose. Raised by an Orc bounty hunter to be one herself she has the body of a warrior. Tightly muscled with broad shoulders for a woman, her wild curly hair is generally left out in an afro, though she has been known to occasionally tie it up. Pharis had dark skin adorned with white Orc runes for use in her Rune Magic. Her back was especially impressive as it held a massive rune that allowed her to commune with her Divine. Her feet up to her knees, her stomach, both arms and pert of her neck held the bulk of the young bounty hunter's runes.
Skills and Abilities
Pharis is a practitioner of both Rune Magic and Divine Magic. Taught by both her Orc guardian Golm and the minor Orc God Bahgl she utilizes a dangerous combination of self-inscribed enhancement runes and the ability to reach into an ethereal armory to dispatch foes with a variety of weapons. The runes are old Orcish runes and thus operated differently to runes used by most humans. The price a user paid was dependent on the desired result. While most uses simply drained her of her magical power, which for a human was surprisingly high, some prolonged uses of the runes on her body would draw blood from the glowing runes. It was incredibly painful and could leave burns, distorting the rune. The blood would evaporate, leaving a red mist around the area of the rune. Golm calld this burn out. Many of the runes also required a quick incantation, usually just the name of the rune, to be called out. This wouldn't be a problem if the runes weren't all in Orcish. Mispronouncing the runes are using the wrong tense or gods forbid the wrong word could cause intense pain if not minor discomfort throughout her body's runes.
Her other magic revolved around reaching into Bahgl's Armory, a place where Bahgl kept his armory. Like dragons of legend he horded weapons and shields of all callibur. Some were more powerful than others and required immense concentration and visualization to find and pull from the armory where others could be drawn as if from her own scabbard. Her contract stipulated that Bahgl should always have a fight to look forward to and that any interesting weapons or armor she found be offered to him in a ritual that required the sacrifice of an animal and a pint of Orcish drink.
Taught by Orcish Bounty Hunter Golm, Pharis was a competent swordsman and also held knowledge of a variety of weapons from many different races. She also held good tracking skills and could cook a decent Fox stew. A bounty hunter that traveled the continent regularly Pharis was also adept at Orcish(as much as a human could be), Trade, and understood enough tail-talk and Komodi to know when someone needed a fist in their mouth.

Personality
Pharis is an earnest girl, sometimes to a fault. She holds to her code of ethics as tightly as her god allows and often prefers to take jobs she feels are right rather than simple hunt and destroy or capture. Since she has become a solo act, she has been known to turn bounties on their head when dealing with corrupt merchants or nobles. She doesn't trust easily, but is a loyal companion to those who earn her trust and admiration.
