Percival "Val" Pirian
The son of the Lord and Lady of House Pirian, Percival Pirian is heir apparent to a dynasty that he doesn't believe himself worthy of. Rather than spend his time moping or bettering himself, however, he prefers to waste his days enjoying the fruits of nobility, chasing skirts, and getting himself and his companions into trouble.
Personality
Percival Pirian is cocksure, smug, and care free. To his parents' chagrin, he values his pursuit of entertainment over furthering the interests of his House. While he genuinely does care deeply for his father and mother's goals and interests, as well as the wellbeing of Vel Anir as a nation, he secretly denigrates himself, believing that he is unworthy of his father's mantle as lord. While he is ordinarily even tempered and easy going, he hates being called "Percy" and will quickly get snappy and irritable if someone teases him about it.
Skills and Abilities
Diplomat: Val is a smooth talker, through and through. Though he prefers to use his ability to schmooze simply to get his way, his parents have trusted him more than once to negotiate financial and diplomatic agreements with other political parties and businesses.
Fencer: While not particularly outstanding as a swordsman, Val has spent plenty of time dabbling with dueling. Namely, he likes to practice swordplay with the Dreadlords of his House during their free time.
Magic Replication: Val has a keen eye and a keener mind. While he is inherently bereft of Pirian's traditional storm magic, Val has honed his own magical ability to proficiency, specifically, his ability to copy the magic of others by observing its use. While rarely as potent as that of the original user, Val can mentally "store" up to five different magics for his own use at a time, needing only a few minutes to witness and comprehend how the magic works.
