Oriane Ovdotia is known for her gentle nature and appearance among her people, baffling imagery of her sunny personality in the ranks of the Military. For one with such life to her, she has proven to be a deadly addition to her squadron before being admitted to The Thirteen. She is one of the fastest fliers, able to glide into areas most would not dare at such speed.

Chosen to be The Spear, Oriane was quick to establish her mastery of the heirloom weapon. In many instances, she had been called the Harbinger as she was always at the front of an attack before the rest of the Thirteen could even be seen. She does not charge without a plan, often making the first strike to disorient or distract enemies with her affinity for the sun, a gift blessed upon her through the spear.

Her wings are fashioned to assist her in speed, able to move in a way that slices through air than most other Avariel wings. Beginning with a darkened gold at the secondaries, they fade into a pale hue of gold fairer than her hair into the primaries. The feathers possess a sheen that can be caught in a glint in certain lighting, often announcing her arrival and one of the many reasons she was referred to being The Harbinger.

With soft features and fair attributes, Oriane is a beauty inside and out. Fast to make friends wherever she went, she always went out of her way to brighten one's day. A romantic at heart, Oriane is no stranger to courtship or admirers, but her head is not as clear in this field as it is in battle.

Because of her general being, many doubted her at first, and is often picked off in hopes she was an easy kill in battle. With her tendency to lead, she is the shining beacon that the Thirteen were near. The Harbinger, the Sign of Grace, many songs were written about her bravery and soft brutality. Not one to shy from bloodshed, Oriane is known to keep going until all threats are disabled, oftentimes taking the hit so that none could feel the pain.

Unlike the other Thirteen weapons, the Spear does not grant an enhancement, rather taking advantage of it's beautiful design and working in tandem with the sun and/or light provided. Fashioned to be able to reflect light, the Spear is one of the more difficult weapons to wield, demanding an Avariel to adapt a unique motion of combat to use it to full effect. Honed by many wielders before, Oriane is able to adjust her drilled fighting style to work with the sun and disorient attackers with blinding light, relishing in the knowledge that once their eyes readjusted, they would soon take in the rest of the elite aerial company.

Along her spine is the branding of the Spear, appearing to look like a faded burn that has long healed. It was not spoken of what transpired during her Trials, but Oriane occasionally reaches at her back to feel for the slight rising in her skin. These days it is seen as confirmation for the Avariel, a reminder of who she was now and what she went through to get it.
