Olvir Weiroon
Born as the youngest son of of Sebastian Weiroon, Olvir was what most parents would have dubbed as a 'surprise' baby.
Entirely unintended by the Weiroon line, Olvir was not exactly a happy accident though nor was he a curse. He is more than a decade younger than his elder sister Aisling, who herself had been the youngest in the family. Due to this Olvir was often treated as the baby in the family, something that he greatly resented growing up.
Treated much like any child of the Weiroon line, the young noble grew up in a life of harsh privilege.
Like most Children growing up in the arms of a Great House, Olvir was subjected not through a life of luxury but instead one of harsh training and tutelage. From a young age he showed an exceptional skill with the sword, and was taught everything from languages to strategy in war.
Unlike his elder brothers Olvir was not groomed to eventually take over House Weiroon, but was more seen as an asset that could later be used. Knowing that he would likely never inherit any semblance of power, Olvir worked incredibly hard to distinguish himself among his siblings.
An effort that was often supported by his sister Aisling.
This drive and constant pushing of himself, has lead Olvir away from the usual aloofness and disparity of the nobility. He is the youngest son of House Weiroon, and although such lofty titles might bring privilege, they also bring a great weight.
Before the ascent of the Anirian Republic, Olvir was slated to be marry Elspeth Sirl. Sebastian having determined the match would bring House Weiroon back into the swing of power, while also believing his son would accept the match thanks to HIS CLOSE PERSONAL AND LIFE LONG FRIENDSHIPS to Elias Sirl.
Unfortunately, these plans fell into disaster after the turmoil of the Dreadlord Revolution.
With Aisling's ascent to the Head of House Weiroon, Olvir's fate has somewhat changed. No longer forced into a marriage that he perhaps had not entirely desired, the young man has been offered more choice in his fate. A choice that he as of yet, has no idea what to do with.
Skills and Abilities
Though not gifted with his families magic, Olvir has spent almost his entire life fiercely devoted to numerous studies. Over the years his fathers heavy hand has ensured he is well trained in language, the arts of war, and perhaps most importantly; combat.
Olvir has proven himself to be an apt strategist. He prefers to think through problems and study them ahead of time, often believing that a few hours at least should be taken to make most decisions. This has proven incredibly useful during his time growing up, and often allowed him to best his brothers in most strategic games. A feat that utterly enraged them.
Alongside his tacticians mind, Olvir has proven himself to be an exceptional swordsman.
Although not a blademaster yet, the young Noble has studied for nearly a decade. Constantly pushing himself and enduring tutelage under hands that would make some Dreadlord Proctor's look soft. He is an exceptional duelist, and holds a propensity for a more defensive form of bladesmanship.
This skill is further marked by the ancient blade that the young noble carries. Dug out of an ancient cellar, and titled by his father as 'A relic of a different House of Weiroon', Olvir proudly wears the sword of his ancestors. A blade of brilliant red metal, it's hilt a brilliant ivory decorated with a stark black diamond.
