Biography & Lore
Nathan is a dreamer and always has been since he was small. Starting at the age of twelve Nathan showed signs of disinterest and unmotivated behavior towards his family's line of work. The appeal of smacking hammer onto iron never really stuck onto him, go figure? Tales of distance lands, exotic cuisine, and exploring mysterious dungeons captured Nathan's mind completely. The desire deepened further whenever he chatted up with foreign travelers at his father's shop. It was intoxicating for Nathan, but despite all the wonderful stories told, his father was less convinced about it. "Adventuring is a pretty lie, boy. Don't be deceived," his father warned, "you outta stick to something real and true like steel. Steel never lie."
Now Nathan's father, Odin, worried like any parent about his son's livelihood. All he wanted was guide his son onto the right path of a stable job and full belly. He hoped his words brought some sense to Nathan, yet that toxic dream stayed. It nestled deep inside the boy's head growing larger and larger at each passing wake. Eventually that boy became a young man, no longer he needed to stay another day at that dreadful smith shop...So off he goes into the life of adventure and riches (hopefully)!
