Naser
Naser, or Nas as he prefers, was born in the Anirian Slum known as the gutters.
Growing up he did no know his parents, nor was he aware most kids even had them. Instead he was scooped up by a Gang run by a man nicknamed the Graverobber. It was through his tutelage that Nas learned the finer arts of petty theft and begging.
His time on the street was shockingly effective, and Nas quickly became one of the 'Robbers biggest earners.
This, of course, was due to the young boys natural magics. Capable of seeing things that others simply could not, and predicting each step a mark would make, Nas found it a simple task to steal whatever it was he desired. Until he stole from the wrong person.
One fateful day as he strolled through the streets of Vel Anir, Nas attempted to steal from a Dreadlord. Unfortunately for him, the man quickly caught him, and realizing the abilities the young boy had quickly took him off the street and sent him to the Academy.
Unlike many other students who suffered under the harsh conditions of his new home, Nas seemed entirely unbothered by the whole thing. Beatings had always been regular with the 'Robber, and at least the food was better.
This listless and lackadaisical attitude continued all throughout Nas' growing up. An exceptional student, Nas took to the training of being an Initiate almost immediately, learning to better control his gifts, and quickly understanding just how useful they could be.
Despite this, Nas is well known among his peers to be generally disinterested in pretty much everything. He does not hate or dislike his classmates, but simply finds his interactions with them to be utterly droll. Mostly because more than half the time he already knows what they're about to say.
Sight Beyond Sight
Naser's magic is an exceptionally powerful gift that allows him flickering sight into the future.
Though explaining it is rather difficult, Nas is able to see several seconds forward into whatever is about to happen. This is not a creation or manipulation of time, but rather a magic of probabilities. His sight is accurate most of the time, but deceiving it is possible and chance always has a factor.
Despite these caveats, Nas' magic is incredibly useful both in and out of combat.
His abilities allow him to maximize the efficiency of his own fights. Though an absolute menace in hand to hand combat, Nas' preferred method of fighting is through the use of throwing knives and hand-crossbows. These weapons affording him distance, and less intensity.
Though Nas' magic is almost passive, he has had to learn a sense of control. Utilizing his own sense of focus allows him to narrow the scope of his sight, and thus make him more dangerous on an individual level. However he still struggles greatly with crowds, and the more 'chaotic' aspects of unredictable life.
