Capable of granting gifts of great magics, wealth, power, or any other other desires of mortals and beyond Mathalla's entire purpose for existence in the creation of bargains. What purpose they serve for her no one really knows, and few have even thought to ask. The Devil seems more than delighted to offer her deals, and is often pleased simply to be brought into the world.

Each bargain is sealed with a coin, one which Mathalla seems to carry at all times. The coin itself is something she seems to frequently play with, rolling it over her fingers, flipping it slowly into the air, and drawing the attentions of those around her. When one peers at the coin, they see into their desires.

Some may hear the sound of a loved ones voice, another might see a piece of platinum worth the cost of a manor, another might see himself upon the coin; His head now crowned.

The deals do not work instantly, and are in fact more of a gradual process. For instance, if someone wishes to be a King, Mathalla's deal simply grants them a clear path into the title. Though the Kingdom they might end up ruling could be one of mice rather than men.

Mathalla's deals are as simple or as complex as the man or woman negotiating to make them. Some spend days, perhaps even weeks going to various attorneys, theologians, and even the occasional wizard in order to ensure their bargain is one which could be found fair.

This is a process which the Devil never seems to mind, her price always the very same at the end; Souls and the right to tag along.
