Manual of Style

To keep things uniform, this Manual of Style provides guidelines on how to structure and write pages.

Layout Guide

In-universe

All in-universe pages (such as Characters and Locations) should be structured as follows:
  1. Infobox: use infoboxes whenever possible. If there isn't an appropriate one, look at how to create one from our basic infobox.
  2. Main article: whenever possible use the structure outlined in the guide/template for the type of article you are writing. Feel free to customise this but make sure you cover enough information to make your article useful for other members of the community.
  3. Out-of-character information: if you need to add specific out of character information add this after the main article.
  4. References: Ensure you reference roleplay threads where the subject of your article is seen. Ensure any artists used in the article have their work references properly. Use footnote and reflist codes to automatically generate a reference list if possible.

Stub articles

Stub articles are very short and rarely need structure. These are permitted on the wiki, but should not be usued frequently. An NPC that has limited background, or a very small settlement are types of articles where a stub may be appropriate.
