Maiden Achaea, Saint of the Suffering
A Traveling Saint of the Suffering who seeks out the lost and forgotten, attempting to give their souls and humanity salvation no matter the darkness which consumes them. Using her divine magic from the power of The Light, she cures those she can and offers eternal peace to those beyond her abilities to heal. Due to the nature of the lost so commonly without fate, her belief more heavily emphasizes The Light and the idea that to turn your back on those consumed by the dark is to turn your back on the light equally. Her faith and identity is one of self-sacrifice, empathy and incredible will power carrying forward the dreams of those whose physical form she could not save.
Filled with kindness and compassion, if one was to ask her she would say that demons and monsters do not exist, rather the true demon is that inherent spark within all things which allows the soul to inflict suffering upon others while they themselves are a victim of suffering. In her eyes the world is filled with suffering and that it is the ultimate cruelty not only to the world but to oneself to bring suffering upon another. And so the Saint travels to dark and dreary places, extending a hand to those blinded by suffering in its many forms, even to those so few others would attempt to save.
Appearance
A young Maiden dressed in a Saintly White Cleric cloak and dress, much of her visible skin is bound in medical cloth while her eyes are commonly entirely bandaged over. Her outfit is simplistic and practical and well worn, with only traces of decoration serving as an identification of her role as a Cleric and Saint of The Light. Despite the filth-ridden darkness she often travels into, the Saint's clothing always seems to keep some shade of greyish white.

Skills and Abilities
While typically a pacifist due to her beliefs, when forced to Achaea quickly shows her skills as a Saint, utilizing her Divine Light Magic and tools to gain an advantage over cursed and evil creatures. Possessing a seemingly incurable illness, the Saint is typically able to overcome her weakness and pain, though if pushed is likely to grow increasingly weaker, coughing/crying blood and perhaps even succumbing to her own death. Her soul and body so burdened by the final wishes and inherited curses of others that when physically pushed to her limit signs of the curses begin to manifest perhaps even resulting in the transformation into a beast and loss of herself.
Calling on the power of The Light through the own good in her heart and that of others she is a potent mage with Divine Magic. Travelling to fulfill their wishes and bring peace to those born and fated to suffer at the cost of her own dreams and health, her Sainthood and power is one of self-sacrifice and incredible will power.
Curing plagues and disease her faith is such that even to those long devoid of humanity be it mentally or physically, she can attempt to reignite the sparks she believes are inherent in all living things that lead to goodness and light. Such is her absolute dedication to this pursuit that she will even take on the pain of their curses and suffering against her soul to save theirs. Through her blessings, by embracing a creature or monster lost to the darkness she can give them glimpses of the light and communicate mentally unhindered by suffering or curses. Furthermore as if a reflection of her desire to save those beyond saving, her soft voice and presence is enough to calm many beasts and monsters while her touch is enough to imbue a sense of her purity and alignment.
Wielding a long imperfect silver Clerical Longsword, the weapon like its wielder is marked and empowered through the act of bringing mercy upon the suffering. Through the Saint's magic, she is capable of delivering wounds that cause no pain or suffering but rather a final peace to beckon the mortally wounded to find eternal rest. Skilled in combating beasts and monsters, through bolstering her own body with divine magic she can subdue dangerous opponents she otherwise couldn't. Embued with her tears and prayers, it is a weapon likely able to deliver fatal wounds to powerful cursed creatures otherwise able to withstand such mortal wounds. Reforged from the remains of a broken blade, the blade is a reflection of the imperfect yet powerful human soul.
As a practitioner of divine magics, she is also capable of more basic feats such as warding and creating divine grounds. Extremely knowledgable in the faiths of the world, she is capable of praying to Astra, Metisa, Maskat and attempts to appease Hissut. Of course, as a Cleric she is also capable of more conventional medical practices.

Personality
At the core of Achaea is the dream that all souls, no matter their nature can indeed be saved and that turning your back on the darkness was to also turn your back on the light. Possessing near unrivalled levels of empathy and kindness for all things even against those that murdered the only family she'd known, Achaea feels only pity and sorrow for those others would seek to destroy. There is also an element within her belief of accepting the downtrodden and hideous and repulsive as incredibly pure in a way all their own as if to no longer be blinded by physical needs or sight. Extremely loyal to her beliefs, Achaea would sacrifice her life for that of a monster even if it only meant the possibility for their redemption. Selfless to an extreme her belief in the good of all things is absolute and unyielding, she would sooner die than abandon those already so abandoned by the world and the gods.
