Maeve
Appearance
Since her transformation, Maeve's human appearance has been amplified. Her red hair looks as vibrant as an autumn leaf whilst her eyes look as though they've been carved from precious gemstones. Before she looked weak and breakable but now has the fae quality of appearing to be all harsh lines and other. The most notable change aside from her now pointed ears is the change of her tribal ink. Once done in the fashion of her home, her transformation into a fae has turned these blunt, crude lines into copies of the galaxies themselves. Weaves of stars now decorate her skin in a mesmerising display of light and dark.
Skills and Abilities
The skills of her people: Maeve is well rehearsed in the things her kind consider important such as hunting and fighting with a sword and shield, though she prefers the bow and javelin approach. As befitting her rank of Princess she is also well rehearsed in languages, literature and arithmetic.
The Borrum: The creature who Maeve can hear and appears to help her at times is a rare type of fae known as a Borrum. Borrum's are air-fae and only reveal their form to those they choose to, otherwise a person can only hear them on the air currents. As powerful air fae they have a good deal of manipulation over the element and are hard to catch due to their ability to turn invisible. Whilst these creatures are strong allies they are fickle and just as often like to see those they bestow favour on suffering for their own amusement.
Gifts of Autumn: As a babe the Prince of Autumn gave Maeve a piece of his soul. Once she turned 18 these powers began to manifest and she is learning to use them as her own gifts. Fire and air being the strongest of these, she can also sometimes produce dark shadows that are a unique ability of the prince's. The latter is the hardest to control as it is so at odds with her own, fae-blessed ancient gifts.
Gifts of Summer: After a deal made by her ancestor with one of the Summer Fae, the royal bloodline was blessed with being stronger and faster than most other humans. However, it was rumoured in the past those gifts were stronger still. Having been given a piece of a fae soul, Maeve's dormant gifts have now awakened. Sunlight and healing in particular.

Personality
Maeve is a fiercely independent and stubborn and fights tooth and nail to claw back control over her own life which has never seemed to be her own. She has a rebellious streak and likes to intentionally cause mischief, but she is ultimately loyal to her people deep in her heart. She can show an unusual amount of gentleness for people and at times could be described as quite a pleasant girl to be around.
Due to who she is and her past she is often quite shy or nervous around others and prefers her own company to that of others. She has a quick temper but she is learning to keep it in check. She is incredibly intelligent for one of her kind which fuels her curiosity of life.
