Appearance

Maddix has the typical build of a lumberjack or woodworker. He stands at around six feet tall and weighs more or less one hundred and seventy five pounds. Maddix's hands show that he is a hard worker constantly exercising his natural strength as a woodworker. Callouses line his palms and the lines and scars across his body display that he is somewhat stressed or burnt out almost constantly. The man's hair is similar in color to that of a hazelnut when in direct sunlight, but becomes much darker past dusk.

Character Traits/Strengths

Maddix, having been raised by a mother and father who explored a variety of professions, has a long list of skills himself. Although never formally trained in any sort of weaponry, Maddix has natural talent with two handed swords, long bows, crossbows, and of course almost all axes ranging from hunting axes, throwing axes, battle axes, or even the tools found around a lumber mill. In addition to this, Maddix is a developing hunter that is capable of taking down small to medium game. Looking past his physical skills, Maddix has always been known to keep a level head in stressful situations, have an unchanging tone of voice, and a completely default poker face.

Personality

Through coworkers, family members, and friends, Maddix has always been observed as a relaxed and "Go with the flow" type of guy. He can be serious as a situation darkens, give a subtle comment that might brighten the mood of a situation, or just completely not care at all. Maddix is quiet and observant and always studies his outcomes and options before making any sort of decision whether they be big or small. Maddix's pillars of life always impact his decision making, these pillars being: Integrity, Service, Excellence, Courage, Commitment, and Honor. Behind the brawn, Maddix is extremely intelligent and always capable of learning something new nearly every single day. When stumped or frustrated with a task, he is known to constantly work until it is completed.

Biography/Character Lore

Hailing from the racial melting pot of Alliria, Maddix comes from extremely humble beginnings. His father, Brock Vadangraff, worked endlessly to improve the living conditions of his family even up until his death. His father worked as a Lumberjack, Fisherman, Archer, Woodworker, Craftsman, Fletcher, and even a mercenary for quite some time. His mother, Ellyara Vadangraff, died when Maddix was at the young age of four. Although he cared for his mother, not much is known about her. Her mysterious past constantly troubles Maddix in the way that he would like to discover what she did before his birth and get to know her more. The natural death of his father plagued Maddix's life with sadness and a disgust for the things around him, so at the age of twenty he moved from Alliria to Elbion, a land that had much promise for him. Here, he works tirelessly to make money and keep himself on his feet. In his pastime, he hunts and fishes. Though everything on the outside would make him seem like a somewhat healthy man, he deals with a variety of issues. Depression, gradually becoming blind, and even more have an effect on his daily routine.
