Malacyte is a Solar Fae, who was born with the affinity for air which has given her a light frame where she will always fall lightly on her feet. Her animal shape is of hummingbird, fleeting and active just like she is. Malacyte's brother Feldspear means the world to her. Quacey is also a loved one of hers, and the three of them aren't often far from one another.
Her dominion of affinity is flowers and in their presence their colour and health flourishes.

Malacyte has long white hair and soft, but elegant features. Often dressed in flowy robes and dresses, she takes being an Air Duanaan to heart. Flowers and feathers that are apart of her sit in her hair and can range from bright purple to a pale grey and they're often telling of her mood. A happy Malacyte is shown with white, while a temperamental may be purple or red.

Like all fae of her status, Malacyte holds a unique dominion, hers being flowers. Her affinity for such plants gives her the ability to feed off the sun in the most dire of times, and listening to the whispers of the petals may foretell her the weather, and more rarely of their recent memories, though Malacyte would need to spend a while coaxing the flower for this information. With her power, she experiences light sensitivity but too much darkness may drain her of energy. Like the flowers in late autumn she can become sleepy and less attentive in darker months.
