Born Lazlo Gray, later given Harkon
Appearance
Black hair with Blue eyes; A little lanky, though not frail. Built for campaign, though not for hours of melee. As a member of the Anirian Guard, Lazlo has a greater mental fortitude, one not readily shown in his physicality. His impeccable grooming, dedication to duty, and focus on proper actions and mannerisms give an immediate air of discipline. This, with an absolute focus of the eyes befitting his hawkish face, makes him a man of severe prospects. This is further exemplified by the supernatural discomfort he radiates, making him difficult to approach.
Skills and Abilities
*Haunted: Lazlo is haunted by the dead of Carrion Gulch. He cannot rest, for the spirits have latched onto him desperately, trying to keep him alive. He channels raw energy, through the dead that possess him, to keep his body functioning. He is likewise corrupted by these spirits, spiteful and hungry of life. He despises that others might have what he could not, that happiness has forsaken him alone. There is barely a living mind left in him, and what little is left of his honor as a soldier struggles every day to guide him back to the light.
*Supernatural: Lazlo Harkon is a natural medium, able to commune with the dead easily and interact with them fluidly. After the battle for Carrion Gulch, the restless spirits whom tried to protect the man now act for him. Lazlo does not cast magic, per se, though he uses it to instruct the dead to act, calling out what he desires to see the ghostly apparitions act for him. Subtle desires manifest without any direction however, leading to Lazlo not bothering with being deceptive most of the time.
*Grim Persuasion: Lazlo is a dour man by any measure. He has no real sense of fear, straining under an unseen cry for help. Only hatred, spawned from the vortex of souls that haunt him keeps him going. When the chips are down, Lazlo is cool-headed and spiteful, and magical effects which would inspire fear or other such emotions slide off of his mind as if it were oiled in a spite for life.

Personality
Grim, foreboding, calculating, and unnerving. These words more than any describe Lazlo Harkon. What he lacks in openness he makes up for in determination; a hatred consuming his waking hours suffices as proxy to personal worth, and what little he feels for himself is often a wash of depression and escapism. What little joy he does find comes solely from his work; the punishing of VelAnir for its betrayal of the Guard and himself. In conjuring the spirits which haunt him, he feels alive again. When the dead enact his will, he finally feels genuine, who he has always been. While he could never be of any worth as a soldier and general of VelAnir, he can atleast serve as its one reminder as to the price to be paid for betraying its soldiers. So it shall be.
