Lale Carvyre
The Carvyres are one of the largest and oldest bloodlines of natives to Alliria, dedicated to the protection of the great city of Alliria and the most progressive when it comes to outsourcing ways to protect the legacy they and their ancestral history have built.
They are not above cutting corners and seizing opportunities to get what they want. Over the generations, it has been established the family is best suited to being public figures, speaking for the people with a strong voice and argument, in addition to their support and investment with the Allirian City Guard.
Physical Description
Lale is a tall woman that is of slight curves and toned build. She likes to dress with confidence, preferring to keep to a simple blouse and trousers during the day and rarely attends any of the social functions put on by the nobility of Alliria, but will dress accordingly for such an occasion.Often referred to by her family name, Carvyre is seen to be an advantageous ally despite the prickly personality she had adopted. Most women in the family tended to resort to the life of being a socialite in nobility circles, Lale has followed closely behind her father, the once respected General of the City Guard, before being imprisoned for inciting the riots in the Historic Sector of Alliria. It is said Odhran was suffering from madness, and to avoid further scandal, the Carvyres paid handsomely for him to be imprisoned in their family estate in the city.
Skills and Abilities
Growing up as a child of a militant family, Lale was encouraged to pick up a sword and learn to defend herself. It formed a deep appreciation that her family was able to educate her in this freeing endeavour, and is a strong candidate in protecting oneself.As she grew older, she took a liking to handling weapons meant for close quarters, and daggers her favoured tool. She is fast, flexible, and cunning with her movement.
As a daughter to a noble house, she is proficient in dance, her letters and reading, mathematics, and has an appreciation for the arts. She likes to spend time in a studio, sculpting visions out of marble and other stones, but is also noted to be excellent as an artist on canvas.
Biography & Lore
Power was synonymous with the Carvye name for the centuries it has resided in Alliria. This noble family was in the pockets of every authority, of every politician, and even those with crooked smiles and shady business. Their net had been casted wide and the people were forever fortunate for their favour and generosity. It meant the Carvyres were near untouchable, and despite their quiet existence in recent years, they were still rife with power and notoriety.Despite all of this, Allirians and foreigners were eager to receive the blessing of the Carvyres. Invitations to soirees, to dinner parties, hunting, tea... Any and every occasion they were invited to.
With three older sons that were both handsome and readily available, the invitations came in waves. And two daughters, every family had hoped to build lasting alliances with the Carvyres.
