The Carvyres are one of the largest and oldest bloodlines of the Descendants, dedicated to the protection of Valenntenia and the most progressive when it comes to outsourcing ways to protect the legacy they and their ancestral history have built.
They are not above cutting corners and seizing opportunities to get what they want. Over the generations, it has been established the family are best suited to being public figures, speaking for the people with a strong voice and argument.
Physical Description
Lale is a tall woman that is of slight curves and toned build. She likes to dress with confidence, preferring to keep to a simple blouse and trousers during the day and rarely attends any of the socials functions put on by the nobility of Valenntenia, but will dress accordingly for such an occasion.Often referred to by her family name, Carvyre is seen to be an advantageous ally despite the prickly personality she had adopted. Most women in the family tended to resort to the life of being a socialite in nobility circles, Lale has followed closely behind her father, the once respected General of the Vanguard before being imprisoned for inciting the riots in Old Town.
Skills and Abilities
Lale has spend most of her formative years studying differing ways of healing the body, starting with learning how best to care for her vulpine companion. Well versed in tending to the health of the foxes her family breeds for hunting and luxurious pets for anyone willing to pay and care for such prized creatures.Healing was Lale's contribution to aiding Valenntenia, having wished someone was knowledgeable enough to help care for her younger sister and learn how best to monitor her condition. Her sister never lived past childhood, but that did not deter Carvyre in continuing her efforts in looking out for everyone living within Valenntenia and on the outskirts.
Growing up as a child of a militant family, Lale was encouraged to pick up a sword and learn to defend herself. It formed a deep appreciation that her family was able to educate her in this freeing endeavor, and is a strong candidate in protecting oneself. She believes Valenntenia are great individuals that can further learn to protect their city, to keep the history of this city pristine and unharmed.
Beliefs
Carvyre was never reassured with the presence of the Guardians of the Runestones, forming her own opinions of them the older she got. Her father has a point in belittling the old traditions of the Stones, believing that most now were no longer needed in rotation, and that the people of Valenntenia needed to branch out from the pages of history books and start anew with embracing foreign values.Lale Carvyre believes this too, that the numbers of the Vanguard are precious and needed to defend the city, not individuals that cannot protect themselves. It is with these views she carries on the torch after her father being imprisoned, smart enough not to encourage all out chaos to ensue. Carvyre is silver tongued, but also understands who to speak to and who to keep at a distance.
