Funikutori-kara-Kuromi (Lady Karasu)
Appearance
Lady Karasu or Funikotori-kara-Kuromi, is tall, slender, with long dark hair that falls well past her waist when undone and darker eyes. A classic noble warriorwoman of the Akitsushima Yosei Elf Islands. But like the Elves of the main land, she also has high cheekbones, hollow cheeks, large full eyes and pointed ears. Despite her slender form however, the way of the warrior has toned her body into a collection of lean muscular curves and forms. The only blemish to her body is a scar right below her right breast - the grotesque souvenier of an assassination attempt that saw her body impaled by a spear at a young age.

Yajujutsu (Beast Technique)
- Karasu-no-Yosotori (Aspect of the Raven) -
This technique when invoked allows the user to take on aspects of the Raven Shades (supernatural raven like demons native to Negurayama lands). These aspects include: Growing large raven wings from the back, powerful shock-wave shrieks or ability to disassemble oneself into a flock of ravens and reassemble somewhere near by. - Karasu-no-Henshin (Raven Transformation)
This technique when invoked allows the user to undergo a grotesque transformation into a Raven Shade themselves, although an imperfect one - as a Were-Raven. This beastial form is a last resort and is only used to impose maximum damage against a large group of foes, as the wear on the body is immense from the blood raged battle the user undergoes.

CLAN FUNIKUTORI
-----------------------------------------------------
Clan of the Carrion Birds of Negurayama
-----------------------------------------------------
Legend tells that the founder of the clan was left to die on a battlefield before a Raven Shade (Karasumono), strange raven like demons from another world. The Raven Shade saved the warrior prince and took him to a temple roost where the monsters held their court. In reverence the warrior pledged loyalty to the shades making them the patron gods of his line. On the spot where he was taken a larger temple was created and then the very fortress of Negurayama was founded. As a part of the Cult of the Raven, Karasubushi are well trained in the magicks derived from the shades, as a special sword school modeled off of the monster's scared sword dancing rituals.

Lady Karasu, Raven Lord and Rebel Princess
---------------------------------------------------------
Born to the 534th Lord of Negurayama, Funikutori-kara-Tadamasa, Lady Karasu or Funikutori-kara-Kuromi, was the 4th child with 3 older brothers. Despite being a girl, she was trained in the arts of a lady at court and a warrior. She quickly showed she was far better as a warrior than a lady of court - unable to recite maiden's poetry or partake in the fan dances lady's of the court were so well known for. Instead she was well known as a deadly archer and adept swords fighter. Outside of Negurayama province however, the political landscape was shifting into a further deepening quagmire. The succession war in the capital had spilled over into the neighboring provinces. The 16th Overlord of Akitsushima had at once named to heirs who now rallied their vassals for an all out war. However, negotiations were arranged. Kuromi's father and brothers were summoned to attend this negotiation. The negotiations, turned into a battle, with a night raid that sent the entire palace of the Overlord a flame. Shortly there after the entire capital was engulfed in bloody street by street battles. Kuromi's father and brothers all perished.Lady Karasu, Raven Lord and Rebel Princess
---------------------------------------------------------
Kuromi hearing of these went herself with the loyal Raven Guard to retrive her father and brother's bones - but near the ruins of the capital she was ambushed by desperate wandering deserter warriors who had survived the bloodshed. She was impaled with a spear and was near dying. It was only after a Raven Priest sacrificed his own life that Kuromi was saved. Returning to Negurayama, Kuromi swore vengeance on the Overlord's clan. In the years that followed, total chaos descended onto the islands of the Yosei Elves. The Overlord, having lost his capital, and his heirs to war, lost all control over the Nine Clans. Total war had begun. The Nine Lords and their clans became split, with one proclaiming their allegiance to either of the Overlord's heirs. These forces became known as the Sun and Moon Courts. But, other clans decided it was their chance to rise up and destroy the old Nine. Including the Funikutori. Now it is up to Kuromi, now the 535th Lord of Negurayam and Raven Lord - as Lady Karasu - to march her clan to vengeance and beyond.
