Kido Clawrush
Kido Clawrush is a half drow male hailing from the forests of Falwood. Born into the Clawrush tribe, a small tribe of elves and being raised among them by his elf mother, the other members of the tribe accepted him as one of their own despite his drow heritage. Kido was raised to be a hunter, venturing out into the wilderness with a group of other hunters and bringing back food and materials for the clan.
Upon his eighteenth birthday, the tribe's seer experienced a vision - a vision that foretold of the clan's destruction with Kido caught in the middle. As a result, Kido was tasked with leaving the tribe and stopping this threat.
Appearance
Despite being half traditional elf, Kido’s drow features are very prominent - distinguishing him from other members of his tribe growing up. To outsiders, no one could guess he was half elf. Kido has a youthful face with grey skin, red eyes and white shoulder length hair with soft facial features.
Kido stands at 5’10” as a result of his drow and traditional elf blood. Like many others of his race Kido is slender with a small frame but due to his years as a hunter, the hybrid is muscular.
Kido has seemed to have inherited his resting face from his father, that of an unintentional annoyed or irritated expression. When smiling or generally in a positive mood his face lights up and showcases an extremely friendly face which compliments his personality.
Skills and Abilities
Hunter - As a hunter with a slender physique, Kido is fast, agile and capable of freerunning on almost any terrain whether it be tree or mountain, or even the cityscape. A proficient hunter, Kido is adept in tracking and is skilled with a bow and arrow, machete and dagger which he tends to dual wield. Despite his skill, the young hunter has minimal combat training and has much room for improvement.
Survivalist - Alongside being taught to be a hunter, Kido was also bestowed the skills of a survivalist in case he was ever separated from the tribe and needed to live alone. As a result Kido knows how to start a campfire, gather materials and set up a tent made from materials of those he hunted, as well as forage and gather water.
Multillingual - Kido is multilingual - able to speak Elven as well as Common tongue, although the latter is an obvious second language made clear with the way he speaks. An example being that he doesn’t use contractions in his sentences.
Shapeshifter - Unbeknownst to him, Kido also has some magical blood flowing through his veins. His magical abilities allow him to shapeshift into a wolf and an eagle - he may be able to shapeshift into more but currently these are the only two animals he is capable of shapeshifting into. As a result of his abilities to shapeshift into a wolf, Kido's sense of smell is enhanced allowing him to smell things a normal person can't such as used magic aura.

Personality
Being raised in a community of Elves that embraced everyone and supported each other - Kido has grown to reflect his surroundings. Despite his harsh facial expression, his personality reflects the contrary - Kido is a friendly individual, although he tends to be quiet and nervous when meeting new people due to his lack of social skills outside his tribe..
Coming from an otherwise reclusive tribe of Elves, Kido is ignorant to other cultures in the world he lives in but has a natural curiosity to learn more. However, because of his lacking social skills, he may come off as rude or overbearing - Kido’s also seen to be somewhat naive.
Curious by nature, Kido desires to learn more about anything he encounters - whether it be a person, a culture, a new place or new skill.

Biography & Lore
Early Life
Falwood, 352, a drow soldier is found injured and near death by a tribe of elves. Taken in by a huntress, she alongside the other members of the tribe nursed the soldier back to health. Over the course of his recuperation, the drow Koreth, and the elf huntress Meira Clawrush fell for one another and consummated for a single night before Koreth was forced to return to his duties.
Nine months later, Meira would give birth to their son, Kido. Throughout the pregnancy, Meira was worried for her child's physical features and was worried how they would be treated by the tribe following their birth. Her worries were quickly gone once the tribe embraced the young half Dark elf and accepted him as one of their own.
From an early age, with Kido recalling "old enough to hold a weapon" his huntress mother raised Kido to be a hunter like her. Teaching him how to track and stealth, as well as how to wield a bow and arrow alongside a machete (the tribe's preferred blade) and a dagger.

Leaving the tribe
Kido grew up in relative comfort and with a sense of freedom - he had friends, a purpose and a tribe he loved and wished to protect although he always wondered why he looked different to the other tribe members, unaware of his Drow ancestry. The young half Dark elf also wished to explore the world outside his village and encounter never before seen sights and indivduals. On his eighteenth birthday, Kido's wish would be granted when the tribe's seer would receive a vision showing her an unforeseen threat to the tribe but with Kido, older and a seasoned warrior, caught in the middle.
She determined that her vision was telling her that Kido would be the one to contest this threat and so, with some deliberation from the tribe's elders Kido was tasked with leaving the tribe and to find and stop this threat. While Kido was elated to finally see the world but Meira was not fond of her son's task. Before embarking on his journey, Meira decided that it was best to reveal to Kido of his father and of his heritage - with his biggest childhood question finally answered, Kido's resolve bolstered and he was even more eager to begin his journey.
