Khalid al-Hasan. Khalid the handsome. No title is a truer fit to describe Khalid. Shoulder length hair the color of onyx stones well kept beneath turbans and head scarves. Smooth skin a fair olive hue lacking is scars. Eyes a pair of honey ambers that seem to pierce right through. Tall with some slight broadness in his shoulders. Despite this one might think he has never shed a single bead of sweat in his life if not for the hint of how fit the muscles beneath his clothes.

Royal: Born an Amir of Nal'hla, Khalid has had many advantages in his life. He received an education from the best tutors allowing him to be at least competent in most things. From politics to agriculture to history, he has an informed opinion. This education also extends into the martial as well. While not his favored subject, he is well aware of the art of war and can defend himself with several weapons. He is not the best fighter but it would be foolish to think him defenseless.

Honey Tongued: Khalid's voice is as smooth and sweet as his favored food. When he speaks it seems to contain an almost magical way of drawing one in. His title is influenced as strongly by his voice as it is by his appearance. It is best those around him stay on guard or they will find themselves charmed by his words. A trait that is seemingly even stronger by the beauty of his singing.

Mystic: The gift of magic has graced Khalid, but only to a minor degree. He has abilities that would have led a lesser man to becoming a mystic. He is able to sense magic in the way of its scent. The kind of smell can help him discern what type he is dealing with. He is able to understand the words and gestures of animals. It is possible for him to command them, but it must be through persuasion rather than dominating their will. He can perform rituals to gain visions. Scrying, divination, and prophecy. All can be done thanks to these rituals, but they have hard requirements and concentration. The more powerful the vision the more vague and cryptic what he sees becomes. These traits mean his use of magic is mostly passive and ill suited for combat.

Khalid is a simple yet complex man. Cheerful, polite, and lazy. Traits he uses more as a smokescreen to hide the truth of who he is. Khalid is an ambitious soul focused on achieving his goals. Not above manipulation or exploiting other, although preferring to do so to those considered more morally corrupt.
