Keia Merrenia

Appearance

Of average height and under average build, this morally twisted young woman is quite attractive, and her attire is less than modest. She has long, dark hair, pale eyes and pale skin, with a slender but healthy body. Her fingernails are a little longer than is considered proper, and are used as melee weapons when needed, and are always painted dark purple. Around her neck is secured a steel collar that marks her as property to the former assassin Christian Vide.

Skills and Abilities

Necromancy: She kills people and traps their souls for later, or consumes them for magic.

Illusion: She knows how to magically alter perception, making you see things that aren't real, or not see what is. This also allows her to invade dreams, and she has been known to drive people insane with nightmares.

Combat magic: Although she is more adept at illusions and soul magic, she can use lightning and fire in their basic forms so that she can defend herself in a pinch.

Dagger: She can use her long dagger in combat, though one of her least refined skills, she can still overpower those who are unprepared or inexperienced.

Fingernail claws: As a last resort, she can use her fingernails to (Potentially) lethal effect, although usually she targets the eyes.

Personality

She is the kind of woman who doesn't see how what she does is wrong without extensive explanation, and would do anything to avoid the consequences afterwards. She almost always has a smile on her face, no matter the situation, and is almost always teasing and making fun of the people around her, be they her captives or captors. She could be gotten along with if one were to try, and she will often meet those efforts in kind, largely because she, despite her outward actions, wants friends more than anything.

Biography & Lore

Originally born of a magic family who travelled the continent, collecting magical ingredients and earning a living by selling magic services to villages and small towns. They often would buy books of less liked magics and studied it. It wasn't until her family was waylaid and murdered on the road by a troop of bandits. She had been taken as an object of amusement. She escaped by using the darker magics to bring back the dead around the camp, stealing some of the bandit's souls to bring them back, and when her undead slaves killed the rest, she consumed their souls to gain magic. Thus began her life of necromancy.
