Kaye
An adventurous girl always on the hunt for a new danger to play around with.
Appearance
Sporting a braid of fire red hair, Kaye wears light leather armor to better move during fights. Most of her skin is fair and unblemished given her plush upbringing, but there are spots with scars from moments where her love for danger became truly threatening. Her many years of making her own fun have made her stronger, with visible muscle despite her lean and dainty figure.

Darius Vellen (NPC) (60):
Lord of the Vellen house, and an minor ally-in-business to the Pirian house, Darius Vellen is a master businessman and charismatic person used to getting what he wants. Father of Kaye, Oren, and Samuel. Usually ignores Kaye and focused on his male heirs for the sake of the continuation of their line, working to pass along his diplomatic skills to her eldest brother, Samuel Vellen-Keelie.
Miriam Keelie (NPC)(55):
Lady of the Vellen House and a now retired female soldier. She served under Darius and thus knew him well when it was revealed they were to have an arranged marriage by her Father, Lord Evann Keelie. Mother of Kaye, Oren, and Samuel. Tended to spoil and hover over Kaye as the only other female of the line, a sentiment that became unappreciated as Kaye became more rebellious and adventure-hungry.
Samuel Vellen-Keelie (NPC)(23):
Kaye’s eldest brother and Heir to the Vellen House, He does not interact much with Kaye and has seen even less of her as of recently given her new status as an initiate. However, the distance, while making them a bit less familiar, does not strain their relationship and both enjoy spending what little time they have together.
Oren Vellen-Keelie (NPC)(20):
Oren is in a special place within the Vellen House. He is given more priority than Kaye as the “backup plan” should anything happen to Samuel. Kaye feels bad about this and is especially nice to him when they are together, despite having been jealous in her childhood that he received any attention at all. Due to that, they are allies to one another and fellow conspirators in activites and occasional pranks.

Personality and Backstory
Kaye came into the world at a very good time, that being one of peace. Sadly, she was often left to entertain herself as she grew older and older, given her brothers had all the attention. However, instead of sadness, what grew out of that continuous neglect was an adventurous spirit. The mansion the Vellen operated out of was large with many acres of land, and she found her way to every secret within that space, not without consequences. She found a great pleasure in the energy that danger brought, and began looking for it when she could as long as there was a chance to live. Through many adventures, she began to develop skills that helped her survive and became stronger.
One day, in a particularly big forest on the property, she caught the eye of a Forest Guardian while playing tag with a wild wolf, and he gave her a magical ability that would further enhance her risk-taking. She would never know it, but any time she found herself in great danger, that magic turned her into a better version of herself. The danger was fuel and power for her eyes getting better, her body reacting faster, her focus becoming greater. All of that combined to make a high she could never live without, and one she still relishes feeling today.

After a heated struggle, she emerged the victor, having scored a hit on each of their throats with her knife, body trembling from how efficient it had become in a truly terrifying moment. An enigmatic government official came by at Kaye's call and noticed her covered in blood with a knife, putting things together quickly. Thanks to that, she was called upon to join the Dreadlord program, an offer that was gladly accepted.
