Kaito
A martial ascetic and vagabond, seeking to experience the world.
Appearance
Kaito is a man of average height, with a strongly muscled frame and large heavily worn hands. His hair is dark black, shoulder length and unkempt. A stubble beard and mustache cover his strong, prominent jaw. He has a sharp, large nose and large round eyes with 'heavy' eyelids; giving him a perpetually melancholy air.
He wears a simple black tunic and trousers, with a canvas 'duffle' style single strap bag. His clothes are in generally poor condition, with frayed ends and some pin holes beginning to form. However, they appear clean and well cared for - suggesting they are just very old.
He wears no shoes, and it is evident he has likely not worn any in many years due to the thick callouses which cover them.

Skills and Abilities
Martial Artist - Kaito has lived his entire life learning unarmed martial arts. His style is entirely unique to him and his master, and is a 'mixed' style incorporating all techniques for fighting without a weapon. Strikes with every part of the body, grappling with and without clothing and even fighting armed and armored opponents. At it's core Kaito's style is a 'hard' martial art, favoring strong external strikes over the more subtle internal strikes - and it shows in his impressively built physique and heavily worn hands. It does however contain a small number of 'soft' techniques designed to penetrate barriers, armor, and magical defenses - though only as way to facilitate the more devastating hard techniques.
Iron Hands - Kaito's hands are more then worn, in truth they have been intentionally built up over decades to be as hard as steel and able to deliver devastating blows without damage. The constant building up of strength in his hands has made them unusually large for his frame, giving his blows a feeling of being struck by a warhammer.
Iron Body - Kaito's body is armor in and of itself. It has been meticulously built to create a layer of steel like muscles which protect key vital points. His skin is difficult to cut, and his flesh resistant to stabs - he is not as defended as someone truly wearing plate, but he can deflect swords with his forearms or the like with little risk of wounds. Furthermore it provides some level of resistance to temperature, allowing him to function in extreme heat or cold better then most.

Personality
Honorable, quiet and contemplative Kaito is a man whom has lived a life almost entirely isolated from society; raised and trained in a strict and self-growing lifestyle known as Martial Asceticism. He abstains from all worldly pleasure, and while others merely strive toward this path Kaito truly lives it. He seeks no wealth, no pleasure and no comfort - he sleeps under the stars, owns only the bare minimum needed to survive and eats only what he can scavenge from the land.
This is not to say he will not accept the kindness and hospitality of others - he will sleep in a luxurious bed if it is offered, eat extravagant meals if they are gifted and the like. He will not however drink or partake in any mind altering substance, and is reluctant to eat meat when it can be avoided.
Some may expect he would be a defensive pacifist, only willing to commit to violence as a protection of his own life - this is a miscalculation. A martial ascetic Kaito abstains from the traditional human experience all in the pursuit of a single goal - martial mastery and the awakening of Ki. To this end Kaito is willing to engage in combat, even to the death, without much thought. He will intervene to kill bandits, engage as a sell sword in a mercenary company or any number of 'violent' acts.
He is however on the path of the righteous, and thus is not indiscriminate or willing to go out of his way to seek battle where it is not wanted like that of an Asura.
