Growing up in an affiliated minor house of Vel Anir resulted in a disciplined, poised, and deadly woman. Many underestimate her because of her beauty and she uses that to her advantage whenever possible. It is a mistake that people only make once.

Kailani is extremely loyal to her family (military and blood) and her friends.

Despite the trials she has gone through, she is very optimistic and believes that everyone deserves a chance no matter their race or gender.

Kailani's childhood had its ups and downs but nothing could stop her from striving to be the best. Having survived the loss of her father, having to hide her magic so the Dreadlords wouldn't take her, and losing her only brother in a manor fire, no one would have blamed her for being afraid of the real world but Kailani was quite the opposite.

When she was eighteen, she joined the Anirian Guard and was shipped up to the Army of the North. She spent two years under the command of Logan Banick. She continued to hide her magic while she was in the Guard until a fateful mission where she used it to save Logan's life. She was sure that this would result in her arrest and the arrest of her family but Logan promised to protect her and her secret. She owes him her life and she knows she will repay that debt someday.

Once the Revolution started to gain traction, Kailani was recalled home for a border conflict. She knew that her family did not want to take sides and so she obeyed before heading to Elbion College for two years.

It is now a year after the Revolution and Logan recently reached out to her about coming to work for his unit in the Guard as a sorceress. Now that she was able to use her magic without fear, she agreed happily - as long as she did not have to wear a uniform. It is still very hush hush and only a handful of people know her true job and her true nature.
