Long abused, long forsaken and eventually, forgotten. That is the sum of Kaelen Rovelle. A former dreadlord: one who loved as he fought, powerfully, irreverently and giving no thought to the fall out. He rose in station, earning a place of prominence in his blooded house, but eventually lost it all. His magic is brutal and effective, as his taste for vengeance will never be sated. Gods save those who incur it, but most of all, those whom he once called family once his resolve to truly live has returned.

Forsaken, abused, and forgotten - these words would serve as his epitaph should he ever have the luck of dying. But, alas, such fortune has not found him. Thus Kaelen is very bitter, very apathetic and absolutely cynical with a taste of both wit and sass to go with those refreshingly bright personality traits. Mind you, there is a gentle kindness, a small wisp of a flame, buried beneath the icy husk surrounding his heart. It is a light that few have ever seen.
