Appearance

Rough leathers, threadbare fabrics, and tattered boots frame her figure. She carries with her the scent of earth and rosewater. Long, dark hair often veils her features with bright blue eyes as one of her more notable features. There is little exposed skin, though what is exposed gives way to detailed and faded tattoos. The tattoos do not span the entirety of her face, but frame it, and can only really be seen if the wind catches her hair just right.

Shrouded simply in common garb, she would appear unremarkable at a glance. Underneath the layers are continuations of her tattoos. They are not of any magical nature, but are written in what appears to be a language artfully etched in her skin in black patterns.

Her hands are typically covered, though when exposed they show marred skin as if having been cut open with purpose on multiple occasion. The scars appear to avoid her tattoos.

Skills and Abilities

Jourah is a hemomancer. She manipulates her own blood to utilize as a weapon. This form of magic comes at quite the cost, and can only be practiced by those of sound mind and body. She is fully aware of her limitations, for over extending herself in such magical practice would result in certain death.

Personality

Quiet, observant, but open to social encounters. Jourah takes interest in life, though prefers to do so through books or distant observation. She's an introvert by nature who enjoys time with people she cares about in a smaller setting.

She can be rather closed to those she does not know, and is quick to divert or avoid personal subjects until she feels she can trust who she is interacting with.

Biography & Lore

Her life has been that of a nomad since birth. She was born into the wanderers known as The Society that put on the appearance of merchants and entertainers that drifted through the lands around Alliria. This is where she learned her craft, and her craft became a religion.

While she was born into The Society, she was not of The Society until she earned her place among them. Once initiated, she was donned with the tattoos that are etched along her body. These tattoos have meaning, and a very particular appearance that only those within The Society would know immediately.

For whatever reason, she no longer travels with her family.
