Biography & Lore
Jormodo was only 105 years old, a mere wyrm when he went out of the nesting cave to carve out his life in the world. He was kicked out of his nest early, because in a nest of fire dragons he was the only white dragon. As an albino he was rejected by his siblings and excommunicated from the nest as quickly as possible.
Naturally he grew up in the wilderness as an apex predator. Sometimes he ventured close to a settlement to pray on local livestock which didn't get much attention till he came across a particularly prosperous settlement.
He was unaware that this village was protected by a particular noble house, but what was strange to him is when he discovered by the guardians they sent after him that they were a noble house of K'i'ik'el. But the K'i'ik'el protecting humans? he had never imagined it. And each guardian that fought him possessed an immense strength that it was all he could to do to keep himself alive after their first assault.
Eventually they had him cornered, he had nowhere to run and his enemies were before him, the dagger was at his throat so to speak and he thought he had finally met his end.
But the leader of the guardians came forward and the first words were spoken between them.
He was given an offer in exchange for his life, that he turn his attentions to protecting the village from its enemies and he would be well taken care of.
Seeing no other option he accepted the offer and had lived well under House Armon, he grew large and powerful, fighting mighty magical monsters that threatened the village and even aiding whenever Lord Armon called on him in battle.
He was noble and kind and loyal, and so he decided to go with them when House Armon was forced to flee their homeland.
But when Lord Armon and his wife were wounded in that battle to leave, he felt useless, unable to intervene as doing so would have caused too much destruction and death of innocents, such was not the will of his master.
He was with their ship and guarded House Armon the whole way across the ocean, protecting them from the beasts of the sea that came too close.
They arrived in this new land. The Lord and Lady hadn't woken yet, so the entire House turned to their three children for guidance. Jormodo was instructed to lay low, that they would find him when they needed him, but that knowledge of this new land must be gathered as quickly as possible from every angle.
His mission was to investigate the threats of the wilds, the monstrous powers that be, the creatures that might be a threat to House Armon in the future. Their intent was to rebuild their house in this new land, and they wanted to know every bit of information about it so that they were prepared for whatever struggles came their way.
Jormodo went out into the wilderness, investigating the wilds, listening to the voices of its animals as he asked them what kind of world this was.
