Jamira Ibnat Theunaba
A Lamia of the deserts of Amol-Kalit, Jamira has become a mercenary at a young age in the bid, first to retake her home, then to accrew great acclaim and power. A taste for the power of command is addictive, especially to the Lamias, but it is deeper for her. She craves the competition, to outperform her foes and to win praise not for her features but her ability. She will, through her strength of will and arm, become the figure of worship and adoration by all who witness her feats.
Appearance
Strong, powerful, and sun-tanned, Jamira is easily the kind of authoritative presence that can give pause to those less certain of themselves. She wears a set of freshly-obtained linen armor for her upper body, as well as the left Spaulder, Vambrace, and Gauntlet of a set of bronze armor. She wears five different colored slings like sashes and belts, each one suitable for a different job. Her favorite is always wrapped around her upper right arm when not in use, even during sleep. She has a dislike for overly gaudy or dressy clothes, feeling most comfortable in things of more plain appearance and function.
Skills and Abilities
*Impressive Strength: Jamira has the strength of six men, capable of crushing sandstone to powder with her tail, as well as hurling slingshot to incredible distance. It is not supernatural however, and is in part due to training and in part to genetics. Predisposed to a strong build, Jamira has honed it further, even before her flight from Migdol Theunaba.
*Slinger: Jamira has practiced all her life with the sling, and has several in her collection which are capable of different ranges, weights, and rotational speeds. The arsenal of fabrics are often worn like belts and sashes, giving a false sense of harmlessness. Her most favorite sling is a heavy sling with metal wire through it, giving it the ability to hurl shot as heavy as a kilogram and a half.
*Lamian Charm: A supernatural aura of beguilement surrounds Jamira. Looking upon her is difficult, as should ones will falter, they will be filled with an irresistible desire for the Lamia. While the effect can be broken free of with enough effort, it can provide a critical opening in combat, or the smallest leverage during negotiation. Those who fail to break free can slowly find it harder and harder to resist as they are constantly eroded by the effect. This is the usual explanation for the bewitched, those enchanted to slavish obedience to the Lamia. When not overtly controlling people, the effect can often be dialed back to a strong charismatic magnetism and suggestion. It can likewise be suppressed, though it requires a conscious effort that must be maintained to do so. For Jamira, her aura of bewitching charm is weaker than her mother's or sister's, for some inexplicable reason...

Personality
While she can seem the type to be demeaning, and often accidentally remarks unkindly to others, it is with her sister or those she has come to be vulnerable with that she reveals how deeply compassionate and protective she really is. Her ego is her largest weakness, a flaw which is easily exploited. Overcoming that failing will be the key to success or failure not only as a mercenary, but likely as a leader as well. She is not as vain as some, at least superficially, and prefers to showcase her immense strength and skill. Like many Lamia, she was raised in an environment of luxury, and so her hobby of slinging was born of boredom and a desire to have an outlet for her natural strength. Eventually, this grew to a love of fitness and displays of strength. She has since begun to unlearn a need for being pampered, taking to the rougher life of a refugee and mercenary almost too-readily.
Biography & Lore
Her home, an abandoned desert fortress by an oasis of little repute, was seized by her mother or grandmother many years ago. While its populace were ensnared in enchantment, it became a place of dark omen for its new, monstrous occupants. In this locale, Jamira was raised like royalty.
She is a slinger, wrestler, and brawler by choice, and a seductress by begrudged tradition. All skills honed through a childhood of recreation and play, which she took to for meaning and expression. These skills all serve her well now that she is forced from her home. Some form of powerful entity took a liking to the fortress that she called home, and while her sister and she fled with a cohort of bewitched cultists, her mother was far from as fortunate. Now, the homeless pair and their hangers-on seek some way to find a place once again.
