Ivo is sinewy and strong, though one might underestimate his tolerance for pain due to a overall lackluster amount of bulk. He's typically found wearing comfortable, loose clothing, though he feels most at home with a few odd bits of leather armor strapped on here and there. A thrusting sword is normally strapped at Ivo's hip, and its edges are maintained at a razor-like sharpness.

While he's far from a front-line warrior, Ivo's high tolerance for pain and admirable skill with his sword make him a more than capable fighter. Nevertheless, he prefers to avoid combat altogether, favoring the use of his gifted tongue and quick wit to talk his way through issues.

Where Ivo feels his true talents lie, though, is with artificing. While not capable of traditional spellcasting, he is able to imbue commonplace tools with arcane potential and thereby create artifacts of arcane function. While this has been limited to clever trinkets and the occasional weapon thus far, Ivo has high hopes for his future as a grand inventor.

Ivo tries to be kind to those he meets, but his tendency to keep yapping tends to put many strangers off.
