Isolde (Character)
Actual age: Early 60's
Fate always finds a way.
Appearance
Raven locks that fall just past her waist, normally always loose and a tad wild. Eyes a beautiful stark green. At first glance, she definitely looks like a woman who wouldn’t be able to protect herself, such a nice surprise when she proves she can without even drawing a sweat. On the slim side, with a solid foundation and pleasing features. Almost always dressed in black leather, top to bottom, but can also play the sophisticated part, if need be.
Personality
She’s extremely confident in what she does, especially when it comes to her work. There’s nothing that comes between a job and its completion. She’s always straight to the point, perhaps a bit too blunt at times. Has no use for frivolous things in life and takes everything too seriously. If she wants it, she will get it, one way or another.
Biography & Lore
The baby! Save the baby, please!
Madness, pure chaos within the walls of the house. It was too soon for the babe but her screaming could be heard throughout, it was time. Hours passed, Isolde was unaware of everyone within the room, nor was she aware of the fact that she was losing too much blood, too quickly. It wasn’t until she could feel death's cold grip upon her neck that she looked towards her husband and begged..Save the babe.. tears found their way out of her corners of those bright green eyes before she looked away from her husband. It was cold, dark, unexpected nothing. Time was irrelevant and she knew death would be truly unkind but what happened next was nothing of what she expected.
Am I dead - are you death? Have you come to take me away?
To some, he indeed was death, even if what had been given to her was seen as a gift, not death at all. The man known as Alec, was now her Sire. Why he chose to save her from the brink of death was always on the tip of her tongue but never brought forward. Alec had managed to retrieve her body from the heavily guarded house soon after she was pronounced dead, yet her body still held onto life just barely enough to welcome her new one. Her memory of who she was prior to her changing was blurry, fuzzy.. She could remember bits and pieces but never enough to put it all together. Not even the memory of why she found death was remembered.
Alec spent decades teaching Isolde his ways, with help of others of course. Not only in the ways of a Vampire but training her in the art of seduction, to use her body to get what she wanted and needed. Not just for pure pleasure but the ways of a very powerful assassin. None were as quiet, or stealthy, nor as desirable as a Vampire and to turn that into a weapon was superbly terrifying. Over the years she’s made her way back towards the Vale, without realizing so or even why for that matter. Her memories still blurred and names, who she once was, were unknown to her. Isolde was an Assassin for hire and that’s all she knew herself to be. Has fate played an evil game with her by leading her back to her past?
