Appearance

Isabeau, is a beauty in her own right but again beauty is truly in the eye of the beholder. The long raven hair that cascades down her shoulders, and around her face only helps to amplify the fairness of her skin. It also brightens already the painfully crystal blue color of her eyes. Her form can only be described as slender, that at times can make her look more delicate then what she wishes to be seen as, which also describes her height. The only inclination that Isabeau is blind, is the fact that she walks with a stick. Her attire is a typical one, long grey long sleeve dress, that has a modest square cut around the shoulders, and matching slippers.

Skills and Abilities

Isabeau was born blind which heightened her other sense's naturally for survival. It is why is good at finding certain herbs and items others can't in the forest, rivers, etc. Isa does have allies to help find the more difficult of items but her heighten sense's help in the most interesting of times.

Perhaps, the gods felt bad for taking such a useful ability away from such a babe, they replaced it with the ability of being able to speak to those who have long passed. Yes, she is a medium and all that the word means. She may not be able to tell you what will happen in the future but a spirit may be able to. It does depend on the spirit and how they communicate that effects Isabeau's stamina, after all in this life everything comes with a price.

Personality

Isabeau, is a kind heart, but no fool. She has had a rough start in life but that has never stopped her from becoming who or what she wanted to be. The determination that was placed in her, has kept her alive on one or more occasion. The idea of any living thing unable to grow, makes her uneasy as, if one doesn't grow, one wilts away and becomes nothing more then dust.
She's intelligent and extremely brave when need be, but peace and quiet is truly at times what she is searching for, so it's no wonder after her shop is closed, you'd find her upstairs within her loft, reading a book by braille in bed learning and enjoying the solitude.

Biography & Lore

Isabeau's birth have been something of a mystery as she was found in a basket with no more then a blanket too keep her warm, on the steps of an orphanage in the city of Vel Anir. She grew up being the freak and the butt of every joke as she was born blind, she was different and different was hard to understand so it was easier to ignore her and or humiliate her.

It was a life of hardship but it all changed once her ability to speak with the dead appeared, Isabeau was but 2 when she had been crying silently in bed from a nightmare. The staff on hand was a skeleton crew and the ones on duty would never come to see what was the matter and so, after a few moments of sniffling and curling herself up in a blanket, a smell of lavender entered her nose as well as a gentle woman's voice.

It voice would whisper to her and let her know she was going to be alright and a soft warmth would be felt as if this woman was hugging her, without even touching. It was comforting and soon she'd drift off to sleep in peace, these visits would continue and soon Isabeau understood what she was able to do, speak to those who were no longer with the living. She kept this gift to herself, as the ridicule she had already been privy too, was something she didn't more of.

So, she kept it silent and from said spirits she learned about herb's and how to read and so on. In time she became extremely well spoken and brighter then the other children, once she was old enough to leave the Orphanage, she did so to make her own way in the world, this is how she met Gabby.

Gabby, is her miniature pony that she found and became like a side kick. Gabby is a gorgeous little brown Equine with white spots about her form, with a bright white mane and tail. The eyes on this beast are a beautiful dark brown that gave you a sense that she was more intelligent then one would think. Gabby has placed herself in the role of companion, protector, friend and pet as she keep's Isabeau from harming herself by accidentally walking in a busy street and so on.

Isabeau now older finds herself in the merchant district of Alliria , in her Herbal and specialty shop. The two find themselves comfortable at home helping those that are in need in one way or another.
