Iruna Reverio
Iruna Reverio
An orphaned Mourner, she carries the soul of her mother in her armor, vowing to put the land right with her help. Having been raised by the spiritsmiths since her mother's death and father's disappearance, Iruna has always known what she was meant to be, and performs her duty with both solemnity and fury.
Appearance
Iruna's eyes are almost perpetually sharp and filled with determination, only relaxing with conscious effort. Her hair is shaggy and falls to sharp points below her shoulders. She stands tall at an even six foot, full of muscle and strong even without her armor. Her armor is ornate, full of flowing curves and expert artistry, betraying her special closeness to the spiritsmiths.
Skills and Abilities
Martial Skill & Weaponry
The greatsword is Iruna's requiem weapon, and she wields it with the finesse and strength granted by years of training. Its range allows her to cleave through hordes of revenants, or through people if she needed to. She also keeps a normal longsword, infused with a more basic anti-spirit enchantment for when she uses her shield.
Cardiac Conditioning
Iruna has taken great lengths to train the strength of her heart. This improves her stamina of course, but it allows her special endurance to attacks from Revenants. She estimates she could take around three direct attacks before succumbing, but she's never undergone more than 2 in a row.
Mourner Armor
The ghost mail that she wears carries the soul of her mother, and seems to have inherited her protective spirit. Iruna seems to have special endurance when protecting others, but other than that inkling of extra power, she seems to just have the normal enhanced speed and strength from the armor.

Personality
There's a sense of purpose about Iruna, an intensity that seems to encompass her entire being. Nothing is done without a reason, even if the reason makes little sense to anyone but her. It's incredibly hard to catch Iruna idle, as she always seems to find a way to improve herself steadily in her free time. Exercise and training makes up the bulk of it, but she's a surprising intellectual as well. She will often buy books from traders when they come through, and does her own small studies on the revenants of Phorasmos. Iruna rarely smiles, but when she does its for good reason like anything else, and she gives it her all like anything else too.
Biography & Lore
Iruna was born to two spiritsmiths in Parumora, as such it was expected that she would be one too. She was always closer with her mother than her father. She only ever saw her dad during supper, and only once a week since he usually took his dinner in the basement where he worked. He was always working.
Things changed when Iruna was 11 years old. Her father always pushed the boundaries of neglecting his daughter, but forgetting her birth day was where her mother truly drew the line. They had argued about the subject many times, and this was no different. Iruna played in her room, trying to drown out the faint sounds of yelling, but suddenly the yelling stopped. Iruna, curious, made her way downstairs, and further down to the basement where she was forbidden from going. In the room she found the body of her mother, a broken set of ghost mail on the floor, and her father nowhere in sight. Always with the level head, she used one of the many empty spirit vessels on a table to capture her mother's soul before it turned mad. With this done, she finally allowed the tears to flow.
The other spiritsmiths knew her parents well, and took her in. She quickly made her plans known as to what she would do next. She would train to be a mourner. Many of her now adoptive parents expressed doubt, but she would not be swayed. She spent the next many years training, undergoing trials, soothing her mother's spirit, finally culminating in her own ghost mail and requiem weapon. Now she aims to find her father, find out exactly what happened that night, and reclaim Obelus as a city for the living once again.
