Imogen Celreos was born into a dynasty of wealth, venom, and whispered death. As one of the Thirteen, House Celreos holds immense power in Thanasis, their fortune built on mastery over poisons and their infamous Meʻei dragons—six-legged, wall-climbing nightmares whose paralytic bite has secured the Celreos name in both warfare and more discreet conflicts. While the family outwardly presents itself as traders of rare toxins and alchemical remedies, their reputation is steeped in shadow. There are few in Thanasis who doubt that House Celreos deals in death as much as they do in antidotes.

Imogen embodies everything her lineage demands of her. Slender and ethereal with her long, ice-blonde hair and piercing, unreadable gaze, she is as untouchable as she is dangerous. Cold, calculating, and utterly without hesitation, she has been trained since childhood in the arts of assassination, subterfuge, and manipulation. Every smile is a mask, every movement deliberate, and every word laced with intent. Unlike some of the more ostentatious dragon riders of Thanasis, Imogen does not seek attention—she prefers to slip through the city unseen, striking only when the moment is right.

Her Meʻei dragon, Vaelith, is as quiet and swift as she is, capable of scaling sheer walls and dropping from ceilings without a whisper. Together, they are ghosts, striking with a venom that leaves victims helpless long before they even realize they were hunted.

She has one older brother, who has taken on the role of the family’s public face—a charismatic and ruthless businessman who manages their affairs in the open while Imogen handles those that require a more permanent touch. Their father, Lord Celreos, is a terrifying figure, a man whose presence alone can silence a room. He raised his children not with love but with purpose, sharpening them into weapons for the family’s continued dominance.

Imogen does not kill for sport or pleasure. She does it because it is what she was made for—because in Thanasis, power is the only thing that matters, and those who hesitate find themselves at the mercy of those who do not.
