Hamish left his hometown at the young age of 22, accompanied only by a backpack of basic necessities and his trusty lute. He thought life in Crabapple Commons was way too... common (No pun intended). He longed to find true, rapturous love, and adventure worthy of ballads like the ones he sang.

Hamish is of average height among those of his species, and as many halflings, he has a little bit of extra fat on him as a result of his enjoyment for the happier things in life, such as much food, drinking, and partying. However, for the fair bit of traveling around he does, Hamish's weight stays mostly along the same lines. He has a mop of unruly blonde hair and eyebrows and ocean-blue eyes. As most halflings, he usually dresses in a palette of earth tones. Hamish is always carrying his trusty old lute on his back, inside a bag he made himself.

Musical Attunement: Hamish learned how to play the lute when he was very young, and it has ever since been a core part of his life. He would go nowhere without the lute that was given to him by his late father, who was the one to teach him the instrument.

Storytelling Prowess: Since much before Hamish left Crabapple Commons, folks around him always praised his storytelling skills, usually leaving their children under his care while working, such was the ease with which Hamish entertained them.

Voice of an Angel: Hamish has always had a pretty voice, and together with his instrumental and storytelling skills, he can get almost anyone interested in the epics, tragedies, comedies, and love stories he sings.

Hamish is very cheery and optimistic. He always tries to see the good side of things and is always ready for a party. You could say he is the life of the party, and you wouldn't be wrong, as Hamish is literally the one playing the music in almost every party or reunion he is in.
Hamish longs for adventure and love, and he dreams of the day when he will find his goddess and fall hopelessly in love at first sight. However, his living with his head in the clouds can get in the way, especially among the more practical things in life, such as money- Hamish has gotten into trouble for forgetting to pay for things more times than he can count.
