Gregor Mathas
Gregor the Redeemed, formerly known as Gregor the Mad, was once a mercenary of ill repute. Until he was humbled by Be'sennar, who offered him a chance at a better life. One that he took.
He's now a Paladin of the Redeemed Brotherhood, dedicated to fighting against evil wherever it may arise. He still carries some scars from his past but hopes to be better going forward.
Appearance
He 5'9 in height with a muscular body build and hardened facial features. An intimidating figure to see, despite his heroic profession. He has tan skin and dark brown hair, with a thin beard on his chin. His eyes are hazel in color.
He clothes himself in full-plate armor from head to toe, with a kite shield and longsword at his primary weapons. Although he'll carry a lance while on horseback and a crossbow at times. He wears a violet surcoat over his armor, decorated with the symbol of a star.

Skills and Abilities
Armor of Astra - His Divine Magic, Gregor can heat his weapons and armor until they burn at the touch. Or he can cool them until they're freezing to the touch. He's immune to either effect himself, and so are most other members of the faith of Celestialism. Others, especially unholy creatures, will feel the pain sometimes by being near him.
This magic is fueled by his devotion to Astra and by obeying her commands.
Martial Combat - Gregor's highly trained in melee combat, fighting with sword and shield in most cases. Although he also has experience with other melee weapons as well. He also knows how to use a crossbow.
Horse-riding - Gregor's skilled at riding on a horse, whether it be casually or in battle. He's a skilled mounted combatant. His horse also wears a covering that protects it from his magic.
Holy Sword - Gregor's sword is divinely enchanted, which means that it deals additional damage to unholy creatures. In addition, any undead slain with this weapon will die its final death.

Personality
Gregor's a serious man with a stoic personality, but one who fights zealously for everything good and righteous in the world. He believes strongly in his cause, both because he thinks it's right and because he wants to atone for past mistakes. The guilt of which often weighs him down and makes him come across as a bit standoffish. In truth, he's a friendly enough man and happy to talk to others, but spends a lot of time trapped in his own head, burdened by guilt.
He's a pious person, revering Astra above all others, though he respects all the deities of Celestialism as well.
