Gracie, The Cloud Dancer
The Slyph are usually a race that keep to themselves. High above the mortal troubles of the lands they live carefree and in their own little universe. They content themselves with simple pleasures such as the warm rays of a summer sun or the beautiful storms of autumn. Their goal in life is to tend the winds, to learn, to reveal in life. Being able to live for centuries upon centuries they are content with their simple existence.
At least, most of them are.
Gracie hungered from as young as she could remember to see beyond the currants of the wind. She was still considered too young when she asked permission to leave her home and was denied by the Elders of her small Soufflé, and so she stole away one day against their wishes to explore the realm of man.
Appearance
Gracie is a petite woman, coming to just around 5ft with a slim and lithe frame. Her features are delicate and suit her dainty persona. Despite that there is strong muscle beneath her form due to the nature of her work and she often surprises people with her strength. Sylph bones are naturally hollow similar to the Avariel to allow for better movement in the winds.
She had pink curly hair which she wears up but actually falls to the small of her back. Most people believe she dyes it but the natural pastel shade is a trademark of her race. Her eyes are a pale sky blue the shade of a winter morning and can often appear grey depending on the light.

Skills and Abilities
Air Manipulation: Like all of her kind, Gracie is able to manipulate the air around her. Raising its temperature or dropping it, sending it into a frenzy, solidifying it, creating pillows, and removing it entirely from an area. She is bound by the laws of this world and as usual the more she uses it the more tired she gets.
Invisibility: So the stories go that the Sylph are able to turn into gusts of winds themselves. Really, their powers are invisibility and their tiny, hollow forms mean they can travel the air currents, thus creating the myth.

Personality
Gracie is a bubbly character who likes to entertain and make people smile. Some might consider her naïve for her trusting nature but her long life has taught her to embrace anything that might come her way. She is easily excitable over the smallest things and can often take things to heart when said in anger. She cares deeply about other people's feelings and strives to fill them with happiness whilst she is around.
Despite all of this, Gracie has learnt - perhaps the hard way - that not all people are nice. Despite her reluctance and apologetic nature, she can on occasion bite.
