Guide
At ChroniclesRP we love and share in the creation of new fantastic stories and locations. However, to keep our Wiki organized and to keep from being overrun we ask that before you submit a new Government you first establish several roleplays around it. This will not only help flesh out your creation, but will also allow people a better view into the small piece of your story you are creating.
You can add a summary of your Government in a paragraph here. The following list provides the key details, but can also be provided in the settlement infobox (add link)
You can add a summary of your Government in a paragraph here. The following list provides the key details, but can also be provided in the settlement infobox (add link)
- Name: (What is the name of your group? How is it referred to by others?)
- Government Type: (Is your government a democracy? A theocracy? An Autocracy? Tell us here.)
- Size: (How big is your government? Do they rule a city? Just a small town? Do they claim an entire territory?
- Alignment: (Though Chronicles doesn’t use the standard alignment of the Fantasy Verse, it’s good to know the general attitude of your government. Are you good guys? Bad Guys? Neutral? Or somewhere in the middle?)
Structure
(No matter what every Government has some kind of structure to it. Whether it be through a single leader or democratic decision, it is important you tell us how exactly your government operates.
Within this section please detail how your Government is organized. Point out whether there is a single leader, a council, or who sits at the ‘top’. Also note just how decisions are made and passed down along the ranks, who carries out what and generally how this process actually happens.
You can also use this section to tell us how leaders are chosen and how they got into place originally. If it is relevant you can also note how people can rise through the ranks and join your the government initially, making it easier for others to RP with or inside of your group. Though politics is unpleasant for some, others quite enjoy it and the better view you give into the organization the happier people will be.)

Basis
(A government is very often a reflection of its people and the land around it. Those who are in charge often rule over at least a partial group of people that reflect themselves. It is important to note exactly what those people are like, who they are, and what they act like under the current government situation.
In this section you should detail just who the government rules over and how they rule it. Tell us who is in charge, why they’re in charge, and if the people they rule over and generally cool with it or are simmering in slow anger.
Autocracies generally tend to be repressive in nature, and if your government holds many of these features it stands to reason that many of the people they rule over would be unhappy with the current situation. Tell us about this and how it would effect RP with the government involved. Similarly, if your government is incredibly democratic and inclusive there are likely to be numerous partisan factions. Describe these factions to us and how they affect life for those living under this government.
A government's basis is it’s very foundation, and the more detail you provide the better others can understand it.)

Background
(The background of your Government is one of the most important pieces of your article. It is this section that allows us to understand the motivations behind the Governments creation, their actions, and pretty much everything else.
This section should be used to detail how the Government was created, what the motivation was, and why it still sticks around. You can also use this section to detail some events within the history of the Government. This isn’t necessarily supposed to be a complete look into every single event that occured on Chronicles or in your organization, but rather an indepth look into the important things of your Governments itself.
You could detail the government's initial founding, it’s near crippling at the hands of outside invaders, or even an internal power-struggle within the Government itself. Give us a little flavor and a bigger view into the government itself.
This section is more of an Out of Character blurb than anything else. It details what we the readers should know about your group in order to properly roleplay with them. It will give us a better picture of what we can expect and just how to use them in a narrative.)

Lore
(The Lore Section of this Template is perhaps one of the most important. Here you should detail what is known of your Government within the wide ranging world of Chronicles RP.
This section can be both short and long, it can be written in the style of a journal, history book, or just in a standard way. It is however important to fully convey just how your location is viewed by others and how much is known by folk at large. This will aid other writers in actually interacting with your group and further aid them in including your creation in the narrative.
One can also utilize this section to establish unique and interesting story aspects of your group, giving you an opportunity to create history from the point of view of your organization and those within it. Remember that this history is from the point of view of your government or someone living beneath its power, and not necessarily the truth of the world.)

References
- ^You can also add footnotes through the article that will automatically appear in the references section with a link
In this section you should list the references of IC roleplay to your city. As stated at the beginning of the guide, we ask you to RP out your creation before submitting the article itself.
