Gaheris
Appearance
Gaheris is, by and large, an incredibly dour fellow who never looks far off from a scowl, frown, or unseemly grimace. He stands at a middling height and wears his hair quite long. He is impeccably clean shaven and often quite meticulously groomed.
It has often been remarked that Gaheris should smell like rot and corpse due to the nature of business practices. Instead, he smells like cinnamon.
Some people find that more off-putting.
Skills and Abilities
Well-versed in embalming and the general processes of caring for and disposing of the dead. Seems to have some degree of medical knowledge, particularly anatomy, and particularly as it pertains to performing autopsies.
Great magical aptitude, for a human, and channels most of that into the reputable art of necromancy.
Personality
Mirthless and sardonic, bookish and bleak. Gaheris is a conversational sort, but oftentimes ends up being too grim about it for most people's tastes. Likes big words, but hates explaining them. And yet he keeps using them anyway.
If his personality were a spice, it'd be flour.
Biography & Lore
Gaheris was expelled from some of the most prestigious magical institutions and organizations in the world, and several less prestigious magical institutions, and several regular institutions. Generally for ethics violations, but on one occasion for ineptitude.
He eventually found work as a mortician, but before long ended up joining the Red Guild of Cortos for the usual reasons.
