When Fernis is active, she appears as an flaming, armor-clad warrior standing 7 feet tall. Her helm is reminiscent to a gladiator's in appearance and has a large flame spewing from its top. Armor covers some of the body except areas which seem covered in magma. Her rocky legs are horse-like in shape as armor only covers the outer thigh. Most of the time she carries around a trident which is in fact her container.

When Fernis is dormant, she appears as a 6 foot long trident made of Telling Steel. The trident's middle point is shorter than the other two, giving it a prong-like appearance. It is cold until it is activated, in which it will rapidly heat up to blistering temperatures.

Fernis has adept magical prowess, especially in pyromancy and ferromancy.

Being a djinn, Fernis is bound to her trident. Taking the trident some distance away from her will return her to a dormant state.

Fernis is a master blacksmith and holds the ability to create armor and weapons.

Quick tempered and fiery, Fernis is a force of nature in personality. Despite being wild, she is fiercely loyal to whom she serves. She enjoys creating weapons and armor, giving her the title of Forge Warrior.

Her origins come from the Smoldering Basin as an Ash Champion of the Unceasing Lantern.
