Appearance

Feng is tall and lean, with sharp, angular features and a piercing gaze. His black hair is tied back into a topknot, though strands often escape to frame his pale, gaunt face. He wears a long, dark robe adorned with bone motifs and talismans, each piece etched with intricate runes. His hands, often exposed, are thin and calloused, marked with scars from his craft. The air around him seems colder, a subtle but noticeable manifestation of his connection to death.

Skills and Abilities

  • Bone Manipulation: Feng can summon, shape, and control bones from corpses or the ground, forming weapons, barriers, or constructs.
  • Necrotic Constructs: Creates skeletal minions or massive amalgamations of bone to do his bidding.
  • Rune Crafting: Expert in etching runes onto bones, imbuing them with various effects such as durability or explosive potential.
  • Bone Sense: Can sense nearby skeletal remains and analyze their structure and origins.

Personality

Cynical and opportunistic, Feng views life and death pragmatically, seeing them as resources to manipulate rather than concepts to revere. While not inherently cruel, his lack of empathy and moral ambiguity make him appear cold and calculating. He is highly intelligent, preferring strategy and cunning over brute force. Despite his cynicism, he possesses a dry wit and a knack for unnerving sarcasm. Feng values power and knowledge, often willing to exploit opportunities regardless of the cost to others.

Biography & Lore

Born in the desolate Land of Barrows, Feng was exposed to death and decay from an early age. The barren land, riddled with ancient grave sites and ossuaries, became both his playground and his sanctuary. Orphaned at ten, he survived by scavenging the remnants of the dead, eventually discovering his innate ability to manipulate bones.

Over time he began to be referred to as Hundred Ivory Sovereign, a reference to his mastery of over a hundred different bones. In the present even he himself has a hard time recalling his previous name... as if it belonged to someone else, leading a different life.
