Emeria
Appearance
Although taller and bulkier than a human woman, Emeria isn't very impressive beside many of her peers. She's got the body of a warrior, but not the full extent of the physique found with other Nordenfiir. To prevent her physique betraying any hints on her fighting style, she wear many layers, belts and furs to hide her exact shape, matched with plenty of trinkets from suitors. However, wherever she is, she most often keeps her left arm open, with nothing to hide the dark glyphs that cover it.
Emeria's face is rounded and almost soft looking, although her eyes are often uninviting and her lips barely curve into a smile on their own. She often wears dark makeup on her lips and around her eyes, making her eyes seem more inset than they actually are. A simple grey colour, they aren't often a very notable feature. When the situation is appropriate, her face is smeared with warpaint, often in similar tones to her hair.
Aside from her appearance, Emeria can often be identified through the strong earthy smell that follows her, which she would only amplify if she could. It irritates dogs and horses and even some sensitive people. When around flowers and high pollen, her eyes grow puffier and her features more red, from her allergies. Her gait isn't particularly impressive, but Emeria has been noted for moving quickly when she needs to, although never very stealthily.
Emeria's Svalen is also a mighty creature. Like the other counterpart, the bear isn't the largest of her crop, but she's well matured, having been found early on in Emeria's life. Currently pale brown, clearly approaching white, her fur is long and thick and her eyes are seem to gain more humanity in this form.

Skills and Abilities
Svalen - Emeria possesses the ability to shift into a large bear, a form she feels very comfortable in and can often be seen relaxing in. She knows her strength in this form and wears it proudly.
Warrior - Like any Nordenfiir, Emeria is a great warrior, who proved herself in the coup lead by Borvenir. She prefers her bear form to fight in, but she fights well with a spear too, liking to get up close and aggressive. There are plenty of Nordenfiir who can best her, however.
Manipulator - The true hallmark of this Nordenfiir, Emeria knows the best fight is the one that isn't fought. Skilled at lying and acting, she's able at playing people right into her hands. No one would ever suspect her of it.
Nordenfiir - As a Nordenfiir, Emeria possess a strong sense of smell, as well as having an excellent stamina and appetite and resistance to cold. On the flipside, she has pollen allergies, is never trusted by horses and dogs, and struggles in warmer weather.

Personality
Emeria isn't cold or gruff, but rather, just uncaring. Unless a social interaction can be used for benefit in some way or another, she considers it a waste of time with little interest in others and their lives. As a result, she will ignore anyone around her until they do something interesting or unless she wants something from them, especially if they are not Nordenfiir. In situations where she is interacting with someone else, she appears more friendly than the average Nordenfiir, but this never comes from actual friendliness, but her manipulating mind.
Ambitious and goal-driven, when Emeria is set on a task, she will not stray from it for anything less worthy. Every action, if it is not pushing her towards her goal, is considered a waste of time and Emeria beats herself up too much for all of them. Because of this, she is careful not to make false steps and would rather step back from a situation than rushing in and placing herself in a worse position than when she started.
Emeria likes to hoard information. When entering a city, she'll make sure she has learnt of the cultural norms and if told something about someone, she tries not to forget it. Any information, she has learnt, is useful, and very rarely does knowing something put you further from a goal rather than closer to it.

Biography & Lore
Born in the Nordengaard capital, Emeria never stood out as a particularly incredible warrior, but she trained with the rest of them. She was raised by parents from an old lineage who saw the king as soft and weakening their race, and was often pushed to be in a position where when the king finally fell, she would prosper. Quickly learning that she couldn't reach this place with her physical feats, even with finding her Svalen before many of the others, Emeria learnt the strength of a few good words.
Soon enough, she became known as a flirt around town and people who weren't the targets of her actions began to see her as no threat, but simply a woman who wanted to join a good harem. They laughed at her good intentions and at the boys who gave her attention despite the better shield maiden that were waiting for them.
Sometime between her finding her Svalen and the coup, Emeria met Borvenir and quickly learnt of his plans. Knowing that this was her opportunity to fulfil what her parents had always dreamed of her, she allied herself to him secretly. In the night, she joined him in the fight, disappearing in the morning before anyone but those that fought there could realise she was involved.
As Borvenir became king and formed a harem of worth warriors, Emeria joined them, having convinced him to take her. Her position among the other sheildmaiden, all far more worthy, was called into question by the whispers on the street, but most chalked it down to her flirtatious nature or that they just hadn't seen her fight hard enough.
When Borvenir heard that Maude, grandaughter of the late king and heir apparent, lived, he turned to Emeria to hunt her down. Despite wanting to stay in the Frozen Halls that she had worked hard to enter, she couldn't refuse and began her journey to the Summer Lands, one goal in mind.
