Eklos Ushus
Eklos Ushus is the youngest son of Azlat Ushus, and the third of three children born to her and her late husband. A tragic event claimed the life of his father when he was seven years old, and since then his mother has been raising him alone, along with his elder brother, Nytam.
Appearance
Eklos is a ten year old boy with bronze skin and wavy locks of shaggy black hair. His eyes carry the same hereditary appearance as his mother’s, with serpentine pupils set in an iris of golden amber colour.
His style of dress is largely Thagretan, often dressed in black and grey. To those unfamiliar with the culture of Thagretis, it’s clear that he’s not a local. His appearance, style and accent all hint towards a land that is quite culturally different from any encountered on Epressa or Liadain. His winter clothes are oddly more colourful, consisting of outwear in more ‘northern’ style, given the lack of cold weather clothing in the desert city.

Skills and Abilities
Eklos is a young student of the Draconic Order, and has spent two years thus far in his religious studies with several more to go before he can be fully ordained as a priest. While he has much more to learn, Eklos has become versed in the basics of Thagretan scripture, to the point where he can answer basic questions about his beliefs.
Eklos is also aware of the sanctity of the topic, and is hesitant to speak confidently of any details he is not quite certain of. He often looks to his mother for guidance, whom he has deep respect and admiration for as an authority on such sacred subjects.

Personality
While Eklos is a devout participant of the Draconic Order, he is also a young and curious child. He was only seven years old when he lost his father. While the event shook him, Eklos’ young age has made the tragedy easier to accept than it was for his mother and older brother. He holds no doubt that the attackers were cruel and violent—but unlike Azlat, he is hesitant to paint all outsiders with the same hostile brush.
Typical of a boy his age, he is prone to make observations and ask questions, which sometimes puts his mother’s more pugnacious attitudes to test. Though he is cautious with them, his views towards outsiders and pagans are markedly more amicable than the rest of his remaining family members.
Whle he is a kind hearted child, he has been raised in a very affluent family. As a result, Eklos has no concept of value, scarcity, or labour. He freely asks his mother for things, who is wealthy enough that money is no discouragement to his request. Despite his fortune, he is not spoiled. The discipline of his mother has discouraged him from making demands or throwing fits, for the most part. This has also been affected by his acceptance as an acolyte, and his position as a priest in training has given him a sense of responsibility which he tries to adhere to, as best as a young child can.

Biography&Lore
A young boy, Eklos was born to Azlat and her late husband seven years before the activation of the portal stone connected Thagretis to the outer world. It was a hostile introduction, claiming the life of his father as well as his eldest sister who was also a priestess.
Azlat successfully sought to have him enrolled in the priesthood, and he has been an acolyte within since the age of eight.
By the time he was nine years old, Azlat's expeditions in the new lands had forged a friendship with Route, and allowed the construction of a draconic temple and the formation of a congregation within the kingdom. Since then, Eklos has increasingly spent more time at the side of his mother.
