Dylan is a young horse trainer who is looking for a way out of Cerak to use his talents. While other than his affinity with animals, he has few skills, another of them is fighting, and he doesn't give or take any quarter. Growing up in a peasant village has made him strong, but sure of himself and eager to make his own way, poor though he may be. He is short, but muscular, and his determination more than anything helps him when he's in trouble. He is chivalrous as men go, but is shy and doesn't really expect anybody to notice him, romantically or otherwise, though he is friendly with clients.
