Overview

The Dung Bear in the wild roam in small groups. They received their name because they can often be found eating dung. The dung bear actually eats the insects and micro organisms that live, feed and breed in the dung. The Dung Bear however will and does eat almost everything, preferring things already covered in insects. The bears dung has an interesting property that attracts insects to it, more so than the dung of other species.

Language

The Dung bear communicates with others of its species by making trees. It does so by either urination or rubbing up against them. When the dung bears meet in person they communicate by producing a low hum, similar to a cats pur.

Appearance

The Dung Bears look similar to other bears, the main differences being its longer snout and front claws that are larger, and used for digging.

Habitat

The dung bear is a native species to the Falwood though was often avoided for its imposing visage.

Traits

The dung bear is a clam and passive animal that's only focus is eating and attracting insects.

History

The elves have known about the Dung Bears for years mostly ignoring them as another animal of the forest, most of the other races told stories of peaceful bears, but had next to know real proof of them, They have recently been domesticated by a group of monstrous races as a form of food.
