Deep in the mountains of the spine, when one can hear the wind howl on its peaks and cause men to shiver, so too can one hear the howl of the wolf, and give men new cause to shiver.

Appearance

Dragox Is a huge orc, standing taller than the average orc and possessing copious amounts of intimidating dense muscle which lend to his weight. His long dark hair and sparse dreads reach down to the middle of his back and is usually tied back. His body is covered in many scars from many hunts and battles and he wears them proudly.

He wears animal skin clothes and furs and doesn't care much for armor or civilized clothing. Preferring to go barefoot even in the snow and only requiring a fur cloak to keep warm.

Personality

He is brutish and uncivilized, like many of the orcs around him. He doesn't care for many things outside of his lifestyle. He treats everyone individually. If you earn respect, he will show respect. If you have not earned respect, he will not give special treatment.

He is a very honor bound individual and he keeps his word no matter what, which is why he rarely gives his word or swears by anything. Because for him his word is binding.

In war he fights with every trick in the book. But in duels he adheres to strict codes of honor. He will not attack his opponent when he is down. He will not attack a defenseless opponent. He honors yielding as well as death before dishonor. He does his best to give every opponent he faces a good death.

He may be a warrior, but he will often find himself contemplating the deeper questions of existence. He philosophizes with himself on many things and this contemplation has brought him to many profound realizations of life and meaning of the universe.

Biography & Lore

Dragox was born alongside his brother Mahhor as an Ashlander orc in the Spine Mountains to the Snow-Wolf tribe. They grew up quickly with the tribe, learning all the skills of a warrior for the Snow-Wolves. He often looked up to his younger brother, who seemed a natural born leader even as a youngling. When they were children his brother would organize their play-fighting and even formed the children into teams where they would battle against each other to practice tactics. Dragox would often lead the team opposing his brother and they often found themselves locked in combat with their sticks. Dragox was the elder by four years and so was bigger, but his brothers superior tactics usually overwhelmed him.

The day Dragox turned eight and earned his name was also the day he could choose the pup of a dire wolf to raise. He found the perfect white pup and from that day forward devoted himself to raising him. Dragox and his dire wolf formed a unique connection. While dire wolves could not speak they were incredibly intelligent, and this one especially so. He named his forever companion Balshadnox, and they were inseparable.

When Dragox and Mahhor became older and they grew in strength and legend within the tribe, as the elder brother Dragox was offered a title as warchief. But Dragox had no desire to be warchief, and he certainly wasn't the one best suited for the job. He was cunning and quick to be sure, but his tactics were insufficient compared to that of his brother, so he requested the honor be given to Mahhor and instead became a captain.

Dragox and Balshadnox would ride into battle in the lead of a whole contingent of wolf riders to crash into a crush the enemy with their savage brutality. They fought in many battles and raids, earning them the admiration of the tribe and the retelling of their legends for years to come.
