Appearance

Doggrave is an anthropomorphized mammoth. His body is that of a very strong, very tall, very dense humanoid, but covered in a thick, wintery pelt. His head, of course, is where the mammoth really comes into play – with all its elephant features, including tusks, massive domepiece, and a trunk. Doggrave will sometimes boast a second trunk, but it’s usually hidden.

His armor is bare-bones. He wears a long skirt with an armored girdle that almost looks like the kind of belt-buckle that would make a Texan baulk at its gaudiness. Fortunately, as Doggrave is mighty tall, it makes sense in proportion. In addition to this, he also sports slaver’s wristbands for minor armor.

The purpose behind this is to allow optimal mobility in his upper half. This is because Doggrave carries around a small boulder – that, while able to be carried by smaller races (usually in two buddy teams), can not be viably wielded. Doggrave, however, throws and shotputs it with incredible velocity and precision. The boulder has etchings on its that appear to a tell a story, but in no clear direction. There is no holster for this, he is just always carrying it.

Skills and Abilities

Twinkletoes/Olympian – Doggrave bowls and hurls his boulder with incredible velocity and accuracy. He can also carry it around without tiring.
An Elephant Never Forgets – As he is Of The Tusk, Doggrave is privy to the incredible racial memory that could fills libraries, had it not been entirely encoded in oral tradition. More interestingly, these stories can be projected back onto the physical environment, enabling them to make sense of the world around them and their current place within it. Doggrave is pretty quick on the uptake and is almost never lost. And, of course, he does not forget details once committed to memory.
Herder – Capable in animal husbandry (just not dogs).
Mammanthro – He has all the combat benefits of having an elephant face. Tusks, additional appendage, super strength, tough skin, etcetera. However, this makes stealth virtually impossible. Doggrave sticks out like a sore thumb in the cities of other humanoids, literally shakes the earth when moving quickly, and his face cannot be hidden effectively by a hood. His best bet is always range.
Wooly – Doggrave is incredibly resistant to colder temperatures. Of course, he is also very vulnerable to extreme heats. In hotter climates, Doggrave will have to be shaved to have a fighting chance.
Doggrave – Doggrave acquired his name due to his irrational hatred for dogs, and they him. This has lead to many a dead canine left in his wake. When encountering dogs, they typically growl and snap at the Tusk, and he will usually respond with gratuitous violence.
Quintuple XL- Armor and Weaponry are rarely made for his physical size. As such, Doggrave never has the option for full-protection or build-versatility.

Personality

Both Signe and Doggrave act as wizened council for Vand, making him, despite his own wisdom and experience, seem almost as if he’s a young upstart. Doggrave sits more as the even-tempered angel upon his shoulder, while Signe is often more fatalist and scary.

Of the age where he is more of a peer to Vand, however – the two are more prone to banter, with Doggrave more often taking the role of straight man and paternal condescension. Doggrave takes little to No interest in the affairs of other humanoids, and can watch passively at injustices committed within their societies. He's just along for the ride.

Biography & Lore

Doggrave and Vand met nearly a decade ago when they happened upon one another on the tundra plains. Both young(er) with much to prove, they, naturally, fought. Their combat styles, while strong, were completely ill-suited to one another, and after an hour of trying to commit homicide, they both fell exhausted without having significantly tagged the other much at all.

They decided to take their show on the road, and have been frequent allies ever since.
