Derugonia is an alp hailing from the Allir Reach.

To the standard onlooker, Derugonia appears as a elven woman colored like the first blooms of spring in the wintry frost, with fair skin, pinkish hair, and softer rose eyes. Tall, pretty, and delicate, she seems quiet and demure, quick to hide herself beneath the wide brim of a black hat.

This is a lie.

In reality, she is not an elf at all, but an alp beneath a glamour. Often mistaken for vampires or demons, she has the standard exposed teeth in her lower jaw and protruding incisors. Her mouth stretches back wider than a normal humanoid face, baring aptly named "dog teeth" meant more for snapping and shearing than grinding. Her skin is a jaundiced white and her eyes a faint reddish pink. Her hair, however, is nearly the same coppery pink -- her favorite personal attribute.

Magic Hat
Born a creature of the night with a frightening visage, Derugonia has become the proud owner of a hat that allows her to glamour her appearance. A "gift" by a clever clurichaun, the large black hat can disguise her however she chooses -- even to become invisible. There is a catch, of course: she must be wearing the hat, which never changes appearance and is always visible.

Animavore
Like all members of her species, Derugonia is an animavore on a good day, and an omnivore on a better one. While she does not always need to sustain herself on the vitality of living beings, it provides her the most benefits. When resorting to being an omnivore, however, her teeth are not just for show.
