Apperance
Dearien is quite tall. However, he is rarely ever seen standing at his full height. His left leg is missing below the knee. Due to this, he uses multiple alternative methods of travel to get around. He uses Crutches most of the time or a wheeled chair when he is in a place that can accommodate it. He also made for himself an enchanted wooden prosthetic that glows a blue-green through the slats. It is almost as good as having a real leg but it causes him pain so he doesn't use it for too long. He has a normal wooden leg that he can use when the enchanted one becomes too much but it is slow and uncomfortable.
He tends to wear lots of turtlenecks and long jackets, gray-green and blue, with deep pockets. His pants tend to have one leg shorter than the other, and always with more pockets. He usually has some kind of sash tied around his waist over the jacket to keep it out of the way of his crutches.

Personality
When Dearien is in his element he is confident and curious. His curiosity has often gotten him into trouble. However, in most situations, he is soft, idealistic, nervous and scattered brained. He is quite nieve even though he is older than most humans he is quite young for an elf and spent most of his years up to this point with his head stuck in a book sheltered behind the walls of academia and magical study.

Enchantment
He is a decent enchanter. His specialty is basic premade spells and simple everyday objects. He enchants a basic spell such as a low-level shield spell into an object like a crystal. The spell is then activated using a command word. Most of these crystals are one-time use spells making them easy to make. He has made other objects like a spoon that seasons what it cooks, and a flower pot that fertilizes the plant that is planted in it. He also made his leg prothetic to provide balance and keep him from losing his footing. It was his crowning achievement. However, due to a mistake in its creation, it causes pain if he wears it for more than an hour.

Relationships
