Deagan Hunt is a cock-sure, quick-witted, smuggler of small repute. In his lifetime, he's traveled the silk and salt roads across Epressa and Liadain, taking odd jobs here and there in procuring the sort of items and goods people are willing to pay a nice bag of coins for.

He is charismatic, with a knack for using thieves tools and sleight of hand tricks. Always wearing a wide grin, he is apt to toss out wry quips and side-commentary, sometimes making him the proverbial peanut gallery. This often gets him into trouble, but he can't help himself.

He is skilled with a dagger and a sword, but where he excels is in his charismatic attempts at talking down a situation than coming to actual blows-- that and finding ways to get out of sticky situations. He is able to manipulate the emotions of others, able to influence them towards that particular emotion. This is in part due to his innate ability to be an empath, which is why he prefers to be the company of jovial and optimistic people. Otherwise, the end results in a terrible overwhelming headache whenever he is around painfully heightened emotions; some of which can knock him unconscious if it is particularly overwhelming.

Deagan has been known to be extremely charming, often believing it is just his typical amazing personality. However, there is more than meets the eye, as this is due to some incorporation of his father's image. He is the capability of slight telepathic reading and suggestion as part of his ability to influence emotions. Unknown to him, his ability to bond is what assists his abilities.

Degan believes that his empathic abilities are a heredity gift passed on from his mother, who was a member of a tribe of sky gypsies. This is also why he has a knack at understanding weather patterns and aeronautics. At least, this is what his grandmother told him. He is but a soul casting himself to the winds and seeing where he may end up at.
