Appearance

Daimon stands 5'10" and weighs 165lbs, every ounce of which is muscle. The young man appears very lithe and strong, despite is also youthful appearance. He had short brown hair and a small amount of stubble on his face that persists, growing out quickly to that length when he shaves and refusing to become a full beard when he does not. Despite this though, Daimon appears very clean cut and put together. He stands tall and carries himself with good posture that blesses him with an air of confidence. He bears a large tattoo on the left side of his abdomen that is an ancient rune for the word "Wind" that is clearly visible when he is wearing his usual attire.

Daimon's typical attire is a white, short-sleeved and high cut jacket that is detailed with red accents and black feathers. Over each pectoral the jacket is adorned with two metal flowers that seem to bloom around small teal stones. On his left hand he wears a finger-less leather glove while on his right he had a full armed bracer fitted with steel and equipped with a retractable hidden blade on his wrist. Around his waist he wears a red sash that acts like a belt, and on his lower body he wears white, loose fitting pants that are tucked into his boots. His left boot is fitted with a metal plate for better protection.

Skills and Abilities

From a young age, Daimon was trained by his village in the ways of the Dahl monks and subsequently, as a Wind Seeker. The Dahl monks, and by extension Daimon, are well trained martial artists, learning to fight with their bodies from almost the moment they can walk. Because of this training, Daimon is an extremely capable hand to hand combat fighter and his in very good shape. he is faster than the average perosn his age and has a great deal of endurance.

When he was accepted intot he WInd Seekers of the Dahl monks, Daimon's learning expanded to include magic. The Daimon was taught the basics of an ancient for of magic known as Rune Magic. Using the runes that were passed down for generations by his people, Daimon is able to harness wind and air for a multitude of purposes, though because the rune is drawn directly on his body, he draws the energy to use the wind from his own. Using this magic he is able to enhance his movement speed, bolster the strength of his strikes, summon gusts of wind, and many other tasks. The more magic he uses, the faster he tires to the point of passing out or even death.

Daimon is fully trained his martial arts and his Wind Seeker training, which means he has a great deal of control over both of these skills. However, he is by no means a master, and still has a great deal to learn.

Personality

Composed: Thanks to his training as a Dahl monk, Daimon ha s a lot of self-discipline. He is able to keep calm in stressful situations and sees more value in thinking things through than springing into action without a plan. He is always the one to urge cation above surprise, though he would rather submit to a team members poor plan than cause a conflict by pushing his own. In either situation, he remains calm and collected to make the best of the situation that he is presented with.

Adventurous:
Daimon loves to discover new people, places, and things. Ever since he was young, he yearned for adventure and took every opportunity to go beyond the limits of his village. The attitude continued into adulthood after leaving Nai-Dahl, and he now takes every chance he gets to travel away from his new home, whether to be to escort a merchant to an unknown land, or to find a treasure supposedly lost to time. His greatest fear is the day he will be too old and frail to do anything but work int he city and never venture intot he wilderness for battle and adventure any longer.

Hungry for Knowledge:
Daimon always wants to learn. After being segregated from most of society for the first two decades of his life, Daimon feels like he has an entire world of knowledge that he needs to acquire. Anything from cultural knowledge to history, to simple legends that are found in only the smallest of villages. Daimon wants to know it all. This hunger for knowledge is also a danger to home though, as he wishes to learn more and more about Rune Magic and other disciplines of magic, as well as secrets from Ages past. He will go very far to acquire lost knowledge, sometimes even sacrificing a great deal in order to get it.

Biography & Lore

Daimon was born intot he village of Nai-Dahl; a small village at the base of the mountains of the Spine, located in the far east of the Allir Reach. The village is home to the Dahl monks who have lived there for generations, learning the ways of the Wind as their guide. They do not worship the Wind, but they do cling to it as a kind of philosophy that was taught to Daimon at a young age. Most of the people of Nai-Dahl become monks, and Daimon was no exception. He spent his early years disciplining his body and mind to hone himself proud member of his village's Order.

As the grew into his teenage years, he was recognized by one of the elders to have an affinity for magic, which was a rare thing in Nai-Dahl. After a number of trials designed to test his capabilities as a monk, Daimon was inducted into the WInd Seekers; a sect of the Dahl Monks that were taught to channel the power of the wind through runic magic that used their bodies as a catalyst. The training was intense, but Daiman managed to complete it and become a teacher to the novice Wind Seekers within only five years. Unfortunately, Daimon was restless in this position,a nd soon decided that he would need leave the village to pursue new teachings for his home.

Very few monks ever left Nai-Dahl, but Daimon's wanderlust drove him out into the world, vowing to return someday to share all he had learned. His adventures eventually brought him to Alliria. The city was the perfect hub for his travels, and Daimon eventually bought a small home int he outer city to return to after his many adventures. Each day he learns more, and his adventures have been numerous, if a little lackluster. Though, the young man hopes to join greater and greater adventures with each passing day...
